I was reading the OP and was sure it was from Fox news.
white people! mitt romney! fuck wit it
hey whatever side of the argument people in here are on, can we stop calling using racially loaded terms to refer to the president 'bias' and start calling it what it really is, 'racism'?
any time someone calls out blatant racism it's "using the race card" and "not having any real argument", which is also complete bullshit.
well it's irresponsible in the fact that the media will do this shit to the point where it's destructive to politics
there is nothing constructive to come out of such sharp bias, and the fact is there are people out there who believe this kind of stuff and this kind of journalism doesn't help
(combined with the conservatives owning most of radio comment) It's a funding thing, and it's no secret that conservatives will drop every dime they have to get an upper edge, because right now conservatism is blatantly corporate-oriented and big businesses have big money to spend (IE: Koch Brothers). Fox (and a good deal of published news sources like the Times) is owned by Newscorp, who are very republican oriented and benefit fully from enforcing bias to that side.

And I live with the kinds of people that believe that sort of bias, and it makes me apathetic as hell. It is impossible to argue with or even discuss anything with them, and yet politics are always brought up.
There is no way to have a constructive conversation with such strong bias present.
But he did bullshit.
It's not obama being arrogant or classless. He has genuinely bullshitted his way through the election.
Obama bullshits too, they both do. It's just a really stupid thing to say as a president, seeing it could always come back to you, no matter how good of a president you are.
As much as I agree with him, Obama doesn't really have room to talk. Liberal or Conservative, every politician lies including the President. Anyone who doesn't realize that is an idiot.

Saying that Romney and Obama lie is like saying the sun and a stove are both hot.
Meanwhile Daily Kos articles which describe Romney as "LITERALLY HITLER" never get called out...
I haven't seen any Daily Kos articles around here, I haven't even heard of it.
However, I'll gladly call out MSNBC for being biased.

How is bias a racially loaded term? Or did I miss something here?
How is bias a racially loaded term? Or did I miss something here?
you missed my post
calling people biased asshats for saying things that are racially loaded gets called off as "playing the race card" because clearly you're just defending obama for being black
it's a bleeding double standard
Americans get butthurt when their president calls someone on their bullshit using swears? Really?

it's disgusting and I don't know what can be done to fix it

Not all Americans, just the less well educated ones. Namely, Republicans.
I personally think its about damn time Obama called Mitt what he really is.
Good man, Obama you ballsy fucker.

Civil discourse turns to a silent civil war, in which opinions become the daggers that stab backs and force people to think of each other not just as opposition, but the enemy. The country breaks into three sectors:
The south- primarily religious value oriented, creating a theocracy under the guise of a republic. Majority of wealth (and office) is privately held by corporate figures, becoming the equivalent of the oil barons of the middle east, minus actually having a surplus of oil on their own land.
the north- predictably, the more liberal/progressive idealists, it's probable that this sector will become its own country not of its own volition, but out of necessity due to the breaking of the south. foreign Policy is decided based on diplomacy rather than control, avoiding war as an option at most costs, though controlling a fair deal of economic wealth.
The west- a furthering of progressivism, california will set forth and take several states with it in an effort to not be involved in the south/north political discourse. It becomes the scientific capital of the world, holding shipping trade with asia and forming alliances with tech companies overseas. Silicon valley becomes ground zero for major strides in scientific endeavors, nasa relocates headquarters to a newly formed enterprise city near Fort Bragg, CA and recieves a major raise in funding as the scientific states focus on only enough military to prove themselves defensible, and put the rest into advancement. They form the first sustainable mars colony within twenty years, the same timeframe it takes the south- led by Texas' continued grasping for oil- slowly dissolves into North Korea with a massive navy.
I really want a non politically correct person in office. Someone who doesn't spend 2 minutes reading a carefully constructed paragraph meant to offend as few people as possible, and just say shit like it is. People who are rational won't mind, it's the irrational majority of dipshits that will
American Politics is really Negative vibes maan...

Saw a sign with this trash on it that's in our face as we leave school, kicked it over. This propaganda-based election system needs to fuck off.

alright yeah kicking over a sign - mission accomplished?
Those comments are just painful.
Which Romney was he talking about exactly? Moderate Romney, Tea Party Romney, Governor Romney, Debate Romney or Third Way Romney?
The one with the dick on it's head

That would be terrible. For one thing absolutely everyone would hate him (probably because you'd have to be a real dick to deliberately avoid being politically correct just because you can), and it takes, like, five seconds just to proofread and think "Well maybe this bit here will genuinely ruin someone's day."
Plus if there were ever anyone who thought that political correctness in and of itself was a bad thing, he'd probably be a misogynistic, conservative twat with awful economic policies and literally no regard for the feelings of others.

P. sure you can't have an election system that's not based on popularity in any system where there are elections.
