I'll be honest, Marilyn Manson would be [I]amazing[/I] as the joker, but only if it was actually heath ledger esque and he had a bit of creative freedom to do what he wanted to the character
Marilyn would probably be one of the more perfect candidates for it, but, only if the plot surrounding him fits the bill as well, and the style of everything else.

Its way way way too small and blurry to be sure but the area where the J would be on his cheek isnt there (and despite the blurryness you can still see his eyes flutter a little).

Yeah I'm starting to think this might be for the 75th anniversary and they put a load of Joker related tats on him but I guess we'll have to wait for official confirmation.
Also almost all of em outside of the J and Damaged(which is easily the worst offender) are covered up.

They're apparently heavily basing it off the TDK Returns version, hence the white suit jacket and bigger muscles, so i really dont see them including the tattoos.
Jack Nicholson is still the best live-action Joker out there.
We'll see how Leto does.

Aside from the unnecessary tattoos and grill... I think the design could have benefited from a darker shade of green hair and eyebrows.
That's quite possibly a worse representation of the Joker than the finale of Arkham Asylum.
The Joker is supposed to be unpredictable when it comes to his appearance, a poker face of sorts when it comes to actions, but all this design looks like is a violent thug rather than a psychopathic mind.

No wonder Affleck's Batman looks so depressed, this is the Joker he has to look at in his movies.
Another alternate interpretation which keeps the tats but makes them look better and a bit more "crazy"

I'm actually not opposed to this. Could be good, could be bad, but it looks to me like it'll be a very different interpretation of the Joker, which could be interesting. They're toeing a line but it's more interesting to me at the moment than if it was just some guy in a purple suit.
Not saying it's good, but I'm saying it could be interesting.

My opinion as a huge comic fan, I didn't like it at first....the tattoo on the forehead was honestly what killed it for me. But for those who don't know, Joker has had tattoos before...
(See all star batman and robin cover). But It grew on me. Was heath the same as jack? No. Was jack the same as romero? No. They all bring something different. And for someone to criticize this joker with this little of what we've seen is asinine.
I like the fact the pic was a nod to The Killing Joke. And more than likely the reason he has capped teeth is not for gangster effect but because an older batman (ben affleck) has knocked em the fuck out
