While it is a entity of the Russian government it is not very bias as far as media goes. They won't openly deny things like RT will, it's not an opinion piece. Compared to domestic Russian media it is reliable.

Deciding your cultural identity isn't the same as outlawing gay marriage. Democracy is the rule when it comes to questions like this.
