Yeah, because when it's about where Starpluck is from, it doesn't matter, but the fact that I'm from Israel, means a whole lot to the argument at hand, since I'm a dirty nationalist who won't accept that there's anything wrong with his country or government.
Heh, It's pretty fucking intriguing, those predictions about science. Islam contributed a lot science if I recalled correctly, but I never said anything about it being a true religon etc.
Actually they just found texts and stuff from the Greeks and the Byzantines, and didn't destroy them because they were Pagan or something, like the Christians used to do. They did improve a lot of these things though, like algebra and astronomy. Stone-masonry was also improved, as well as irrigation.
okay, well I'm from the US, and I have problems with Israel what now
That won't be valid in 30 years from now. I'm ganna run for POTUS. First I'm ganna be a senator for CA then run. It's time to fix up America. I'm not kidding. [editline]10:03PM[/editline] I'm also going to say "I support Israel" etc etc. then when I become Prez I will gradually expose my agenda
okay, well I'm from the US, and I have problems with Israel what now
I mentioned starpluck specifically because he is a Muslim, which almost counts as much as where he is from.
That won't be valid in 30 years from now. I'm ganna run for POTUS. First I'm ganna be a senator for CA then run. It's time to fix up America. I'm not kidding. Muhahahaha. There will be more rage than the birthers thing with Obama.
Bullshit, they have had half a century for "a secure future".
No, Israel had half a century for "a secure future". It still hasn't gone through with resolution 242. What should the Palestinians do, just give up their right of self-determination? Seriously you're so deluded its scary, if you think Israel can continue with its "ethnic cleansing".
The last paragraph fucking pissess me off. Campaign donations "Political campaign contributions", writes Mitchell Bard, "are also considered an important means of influence; typically, Jews have been major benefactors." According to Bard, objective quantification that the impact of campaign contributions have on "legislative outcomes, particularly with regard to Israel-related issues" is difficult. This is because raw analysis of contributions statistics do not take into account "non-monetary factors" and whether or not "a candidate is pro-Israel because of receiving a contribution, or receives a donation as a result of taking a position in support of Israel."[2] Targeting AIPAC does not give donations directly to candidates, but those who donate to AIPAC are often important political contributors in their own right. In addition, AIPAC helps connect donors with candidates, especially to the network of pro-Israel political action committees. AIPAC president Howard Friedman says “AIPAC meets with every candidate running for Congress. These candidates receive in-depth briefings to help them completely understand the complexities of Israel’s predicament and that of the Middle East as a whole. We even ask each candidate to author a ‘position paper’ on their views of the US-Israel relationship – so it’s clear where they stand on the subject.” [35] This process has become more targeted over time according to Bard, "In the past, Jewish contributions were less structured and targeted than other interest groups, but this has changed dramatically as Israel-related political action committees (PACs) have proliferated."[2] Among politicians considered unfriendly to Israel who AIPAC has helped defeat include Cynthia McKinney, Paul Findley, Earl Hillard, Pete McCloskey, Senators William Fulbright and Roger Jepson, and Adlai Stevenson in his campaign for governor of Illinois in 1982.[36] The defeat of Charles H. Percy, Senator for Illinois until 1985, has been attributed to AIPAC-co-ordinated donations to his opponent after he supported the sale of AWACS planes to Saudi Arabia. Donations included $1.1 million on anti-Percy advertising by Michael Goland, who was also a major contributor to AIPAC.[36] Former executive director of AIPAC, Tom Dine, was quoted as saying, "All the Jews in America, from coast to coast, gathered to oust Percy. And the American politicians - those who hold public positions now, and those who aspire - got the message".[37]
Thats so fucked up, they're practically interfering with democracy by doing that.
I don't see how Israel being an ally in an unpleasant region really has got to do with anything. People seem to overlook the fact that it became an unpleasant reason to the U.S due to its support of Israel. A lot of nations do not support nations, yet they're allies with the U.S. And how does aligning with a nation that the majority of the world condemns beneficial to the U.S? This is not why I pay my tax dollars, to make the vengeful nation of Israel a stronger army but to instead to focus on our own national interests.
The world doesn't actually give a shit about Israel. If they did, they would have seriously ramped up the condemnation. As a government, what Israel is doing barely registers on the global RADAR. Not getting involved is ultimately the best course of action for most nations not involved. Israel provides excellent intelligence on terrorist cells and has extensive experience combating them. We have a mutually beneficial agreement with Israel which allows each party to benefit from the experience of the other. Having an ally that is so incredibly used to fighting the sort of conflict we are relatively new at, has been unimaginably helpful. You know what the United States did to the last country we encountered run by terrorists? We INVADED. It's called AFGHANISTAN. We aren't about to pull support from a country who is trying desperately to avoid invasion.
Why the fuck are you guys lynching Starpluck? Why does it matter where he's from?
It doesn't [editline]10:55PM[/editline] I don't think anyone really cares where burnemdown comes from either. it was brought up once or twice and that was it. JD has gotta be the only one who keeps throwing that around.

Oh yeah, cause, that's so great for enacting change. Not like that would result in massive support for Israel.
If you guys don't have anything constructive to say other than do character assassinations (He's a MUSLIM ERGO TERRORIST SYMPATHIZER), it pretty much shows which side is winning and which side is losing.
The worlds third worst country.
