But just World War one was the last, and perhaps grandest of the war between kings. For me, I believe it changed the direction the world was heading toward more than World War II. With out WWI, fascism and communism wouldn't of taken such strong holds on nations, and many, many nations wouldn't of been liberated from their medieval conquerors, such as the Poles and Czechs and Arabs. WW II had the ideologies, but there would of been none fighting, in my opinion, with out their ability to let lose from WWI

WW II had the ideologies, but there would of been none fighting, in my opinion, with out their ability to let lose from WWI[/QUOTE] i view ww1 as more of an unavoidable war. the second germany was unified it was going to strive towards great power status. it's just what countries back then did. prestige was what you strived for. and if an assassination didn't start it off, it would have started a different way. and the old nearly feudal empires of austria and the ottomans were already teetering at the time. i feel as if some people too greatly attach the independence of places like hungary to the defeat of austria in the first world war. it would have happened eventually.

Demolishing houses isn't really an attack on their human dignity as it isn't done with that goal, it's to demolish illegal houses. It's hardly even an attack on their dignity by destroying houses even if that's what they were trying to do, it's not good to have your house destroyed but it's doesn't fall under any of those categories. Since it's on a fairly large scale I would of thought that counted as widespread but since their acts aren't even particularly targeting "political, racial or religious" groups, it doesn't meet that criteria. They aren't demolishing houses because they belong to Arabs, it's because they are built illegaly. If Jews built houses illegaly, they would probably be demolished too.

If people demolish the houses that people have lived in for generations, I would say that is a serious attack on their dignity.
