Too bad they can't use Mark Vanderloo. That would be spot on.
I have some restored faith in the film knowing some of the people who made the game are also over seeing the project. I see no reason why they should not get the voice actors for the alien to play them. Hearing Brandon Keener's Garrus voice on the big screen along with Fred Tatsciore's Saren would be fucking awesome. Not to mention seeing the characters with modern CGI should be pretty cool.
It'll turn into a three movie deal, and try hard to be star wars.
I won't get pumped until I start seeing some shit
And if they make it about Shepard I won't see it. If they make it about someone else in the same universe, I'll give it a shot.
This better not fucking suck.
This is going to be the first good videogame movie... IT HAS TO BE
FUCK Please god, I swear if they ruin this one
Sadly there will be no aviators involved.
It's being made by the 300 guys. It's going to be a clusterfuck of nudity and slow motion violence.
This better not fucking suck.
This is going to be the first good videogame movie... IT HAS TO BE

Its a videogame movie. Always poorly implemented with a mixed story plot sometimes adding something else new, just to be "hollywood". Probably with some poor actors who don't know what they're obviously doing most of the time. Look at the nirvana movie, we know thats going to fail hard
You know, if this comes to fruition I think Biowares "make characters look like their voice actors" thing will pay off IMMENSELY.
Starring Michael Cera as Joker!
He is not fucking funny. Fuck that. Use the actor who plays Joker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seth_Green
Why... why does Hollywood do this to us peaceful gamers D:
If alien hentai wasn't good enough in games, what do you do? Make it a movie. :byodood:
I predict Sam Worthington as Shephard.
I wonder what Mark Vanderloo sounds like...
If alien hentai wasn't good enough in games, what do you do? Make it a movie. :byodood:
Avatar?
this better not become a fucking Eragon.

And for Evi.
He already has experience playing a character named John Shepard after all.
How many fucking John Shepards do we need?
I want this movie to be called Mass Effect: Archangel and have it about Garrus fighting crime in Omega. [editline]03:56PM[/editline] With the original voice actor. That voice makes me shiver due to sheer awesomeness.
^ Oh wait, your Fake Saren. Not Saren.
I want this movie not to be made.
Hm, the writer from I Am Legend. Sounds solid. although I'm a bit worried how they're going to translate it onto the screen, I doubt they will do one movie per game (Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3), and ME2 only just released, so how are they going to put in the ME3 story? Besides, each game has enough story on it's own for a full movie, so translating three of 'em into one movie might turn out horrible. That is, if they only do one movie.
If they set it in the Mass Effect universe and add new characters I'd think it would work. I'm certain it will fail if it's the original characters and main story.
Avatar?
:barf: Wait...Avatar was a movie before it had a game. And that game doesn't have sex in it, does it? (I haven't played the game)
It had better not be about the game's plot. I want it set in the ME universe but about something else.
Could happen, but that'd be highly unlikely.
