If you're a practitioner of a religion, these small things probably jump out at you. It's not like someone went around scrutinising all kinds of media for signs of the Koran being misused, more than likely a devout Muslim happened to be watching the show and noticed the page as soon as it came up because they were familiar with it. Also if you don't understand why someone might feel insulted because of this, you need to grow up.
Man, not even one page in and this thread turned into Muslim-hating.
It would appear you are wrong
I'm not sure his lack of caring could be construed as hatred though.
you would have thought that it would be pretty hard for them to put a koran page into the animation unless it serves a purpose earlier in the episode? this is more confusing than anything else - why did fireman sam have a copy of the koran in the control room? do they use it to predict fires

Probably just an artist being silly. I know I've added stupid stuff to my art just for fun. Then again the difference is, I'm in school. They should probably be a wee bit more professional about these things.
Animators are children at heart and do shit like this at all levels tbh

I'm also going to quote the following since it makes the whole situation even more ridiculous:
The episode featuring the page from the Koran has never been broadcast by the BBC, but BBC News understands the corporation has received more than 1,000 complaints about it.
They are complaining to the BBC yet the show is being aired by Channel 5. These people are not very smart. In fact, it doesn't even have to be practitioners of the religion complaining, these might just as well be islamophobes themselves that are angry at the Koran being shown on British TV. But it doesn't even matter who's complaining, the point is that it's completely utterly stupid to complain about such an insignificant tiny little thing. This is the definition of making an elephant out of a mosquito

The only people that would care about their holy book appearing on some shitty children's cartoon for 30 attoseconds are gigantic children
