Russia is Syria's biggest ally. If Turkey takes actions and world organizations backing the nation up, russians may as well cut diplomatic relations with the world and provoke another Cold War.
not gonna happen. Syria is not important enough for Russia to risk a 3rd world war.

Imagine the moment when Iran comes out and gives Syrias the nukes they randomly got nonetheless, Syria uses nukes and hell breaks loose, US and Israel finally pissed off at Iran and invade it, China and Russia support Iran, world war unleashes. ...please dont.
Sitting around and playing as a peaceful party is just going to harm Turkey more. The Syrians have proven that no matter what they're not going to stop this bullshit until a higher power comes in and forces them to, and the Turks will probably be the ones to do it. Regardless of your humanitarian "omg war is evil plz stop" standpoint, odds are that shit is gonna get sour. The Syrians are begging for war, and that's what they'll get.
This. Shit has been going on for long enough and nothing but a direct "slap in the face" action is enough to even give Syria pause. What I am worried about though is the measures both countries will eventually take to get one or the other to cease their bullshit. Anything can happen at this point and that is the scariest thing about this.
I'm unsure whether Turkey should go in or not, from an outsider point-of-view. Aside from the Turk-Arab relations, this is a country that has a record of human rights violations. This wouldn't go well for NATO, unless Washington doesn't give a shit about this and just want Turkish troops to swoop in, instead of sending European or American forces, which is unpopular.

Russia only cares about Syria since they're one of the last countries that's buying their arms. Most countries are making their own copies or creating their own weapons.
In 2012 AD war were declared

For instance, Russia just got a 4.5Bn USD deal with Iraq about 15 minutes ago. Don't forget India, Syria, Pakistan, China, most post-soviet states and loads more. They export just as much as the United states and make loads off of it.
For instance, Russia just got a 4.5Bn USD deal with Iraq about 15 minutes ago. Don't forget India, Syria, and pretty much every other state.
Yes, he was talking about Syria. Russia almost exclusively provides them with arms, $4.7 billion from 2007-2010. The Syrians are in massive debt to Russia. Without Rosoboronsexport providing arms and medical supplies the Syrian Army wouldn't be able to do what its doing.
While Moscow has a number of reasons to guard its relations with Damascus, the most concrete, many analysts say, is the longstanding arms sales to Syria.
