Well no I'm just giving the teachers reasoning.
It's piss-poor reasoning. Imagine if the students had written articles about positive experiences in mosques, and the teacher cut them off and gave them zeroes. Would you really buy 'Islam is a sensitive topic' as an excuse?
In Texas of all places...figured this would be in California or something
Wow that totally doesn't demonize guns and this teacher totally sounds wise and unbiased enough to be a teacher
you guys do realize that even though this was a bit personal it can also be completely against school policy to write about anything about guns as dumb as it may sound
I'm surprised this happened in Texas.
Im surprised this happened in DALLAS! of all places.
That's like refusing to grade a biology paper on evolution because you're religious.
One of my biology teachers was religious and didn't believe in evolution but she still taught it openly and had a lot of knowledge on the subject.
This is awful, reminds me of how my friend failed an essay in grade 5 because his teacher couldn't understand handwriting and refused to even read it.
One of my biology teachers was religious and didn't believe in evolution but she still taught it openly and had a lot of knowledge on the subject.
That's not only the mark of a good teacher, but a good theist in general.
it's actually nothing like that
he didn't say it was.
That's not only the mark of a good teacher, but a good theist in general.
Generally though, most people treat what they think is ridiculous with disdain
I guess if guns are against school policy whether real or imaginary, the teacher has a valid point, albeit being goody two shoes narc. Regardless if the it's school policy or teacher bias, the anti-gun agenda is retarded as hell.
One of my biology teachers was religious and didn't believe in evolution but she still taught it openly and had a lot of knowledge on the subject.
I still don't get why religious people don't come to peace with the idea that God achieved creation through evolution.
When he said it could be on any topic, he has to be prepared for any topic.
