Woops, I just watched the video after reading the first sentence, but I agree about the murderer, maybe if it was manslaughter but it doesn't say that.
And you also don't know the motive for the murder of if there was one. It's all circumstantial whether they should be given time off for this.
I think it's funny that the armed robber and the murderer were the ones that saved the guard's life.
