so gross
so gross
What's so gross? :raise:
We should show this to Gabe.
I still don't fully understand what happened to the Hunter. Sometimes it moves too fast to see exactly what the hell happened. I did enjoy it though. Can't wait for part 2.
It seemed awkward every time he turned a corner, because sometimes his arms would still be in a running animation while he sort of froze there for a second, and then he would robotically turn to the left with his arms still doing the same thing. There wasn't any leaning into it or dragging of the arms across the screen as he went around a corner.
I want to find out how he did this, very badly. It's a close-kept secret by kitty0706, DasBoSchitt, and some other dude who was a complete dick to me when I asked him about it.

A NPC with a camera-inside-the-head and controlled path MIGHT have been used for some, or even most of the movements, though, especially if they combined that with Faceposer (to carefully and accurately tell where the camera should look at) and NPC anims.
He hardly used greenscreen. Most of the time it was just a shitload of screenshots.
Not a shitload of screenshots, I've watched a lot more of Kitty's videos. He used greenscreens all the time.
Did he just knife a strider? [editline]01:52PM[/editline] *I mean a hunter.
when i use to hl2rp, i knifed a hunter. and used a sword to kill zombies. hell yeah
lol
I prefer his "Flow of Music" video more.
Woah that's really well done! Can't wait to see more.
I tried to do the same thing. It looked just like in the video, maybe little bit crappier. Anyway, i try to make a new one tomorrow and i think i upload it in YouTube. Yep, it's just greenscreen, lots of screenshots and some other useful tools. And good editing skill.
Very, very nice.
What camera tool did you use in that video?
NPC-camera, here is fixed version: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=91287 and amateurcamera and normal GMOD camera. Oh and also Camera Tool which i attached to ragdolls head and started taking pictures with greenscreen. Then i deleted green screen with Vegas. Simple, but takes time. Time means good results.
