Oh and I must say nice work creating a storm in a teacup over a storm in a teacup media.
The charge is what it is simply because the boy is black. Like it or not, the justice system is pretty racist. I.e. blacks are more likely to get the death penalty than whites.
What the fuck? This can't be the full story.
Last year we gave a blow up doll, along with strawberries and a can of whipping cream to our music teacher for his birthday.............. It was a joke. So was this. 8 years is bull shit, at most they could have suspended him for a week or two.
A Rushville High School senior faces a felony charge after bringing a blow-up doll to school as part of what he claims was a prank.
Well he wasn't going to fuck it. It's a sex doll, not a mudkip plush. Maybe it was one of those special jihadist sex dolls that blow themselves up.
Will he be able to take the blow up doll with him? Prison gets lonely you know
should of got the death penalty [sp]its a joke[/sp]
My graduating class did a joke like this except they strapped a blow up doll to a someone school official's car. Nothing really came out of that.
He's being sentenced for that long because they thought it was a bomb? So what if someone parks a car near a landmark and someone suspects its a bomb?
Why is it assumed that every box is a bomb? Maybe, just maybe, it's a fucking box.
That's what they want you to think. :tinfoil:
Call the ACLU, there is some major BS going on here. [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] Or the NAACP.
This is an unbelievably misleading thread title. He's being PRELIMINARILY CHARGED with a crime that carries a sentence of UP TO EIGHT YEARS. He hasn't been convicted, he hasn't been sentenced, and the charges will almost certainly be reduced as the case proceeds.
wow, he gets in trouble for bringing a blow-up doll, but at my school, they pour golf balls outside of the school buildings and the administrator's office, and nothing happens. Also, about 24 people fell, 2 of them were teachers.
heh second source? [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] hopefully a case of them trying to prank the prankster and nothing real will come of it sensationalist thread title, he hasn't even 'landed' in court yet, it will probably be dismissed
Only in Murica [sp](and maybe Britain)[/sp]
Nice to see you're from neither of those countries and therefore know everything about their judiciary systems!!!!!!!!!
Nice to see you're from neither of those countries and therefore know everything about their judiciary systems!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure he's not serious... What you said is common sence.
...Is it because he's Black?
Only in America.
...Is it because he's Black?
No, i swear to god, we didn't know!
Only in America.
Okay, now it's just getting out of hand
"We found a blow-up..." "TERRORISM!!"
Criminal mischief... Since when is a blow up doll criminal mischief. What? Is the principal opposed to the many fine products at the local Romantic Depot.
Even if he brought a bazooka to school he wouldn't have gotten 8 years.
Jesus christ, the most that would happen at any school that i know would be he wouldn't be able to walk as a senior or suspended the last week or something along those lines. Out of school punishment for something that did no harm to anyone in school is just unfair. I mean, this is like those middle-school kids that bring porno to school, they would never get anything over suspension. I just did a paper on justice and this is a PERFECT example of retributive justice. Is his 8 years in jail supposed to rehabilitate him from putting anymore blow up dolls in public places?
I vote his charges are cleared and put on the idiot cop that arrested him.
There is no way that the court will actually charge him with a felony for this. This is just the school overreacting to try and "teach a lesson" by charging something absurd. It's power abuse, basically.
that is ridiculous who in their right mind would even THINK of bringing a blow up doll into a school, A SCHOOL of all places
I find it pretty fucking stupid he's been arrested for it.
I won't disagree, but the title is still very misleading
Our school told us if we did a senior prank they would not allow us to have graduation ceremonies. That they would just mail us our diplomas. I'm sure they would have also charged someone who did a prank up the ass as well. Our school was full of soccer mom types since the neighborhood and village was built mostly of upper-middle class and upper class people.
an 8 year felony charge are you fucking serious gg justice system
