ATF Catches Illegal Gun Sales in Detroit ... through a barber shop

yes we are a violent city but if you are able to overlook that you can see detroit is actually really great. The art scene is thriving and outside businesses are taking notice to detroit, at least in certain areas. Downtown and midtown are amazing.
They don't even specify where this is at. It's probably in a shady ass area and then i can safely say this is no surprise
Seems like a waste of resources if you ask me. They should have used the money they spent on this operation to track higher up then these street level guys, or if they did atleast not make it public until then. There are areas of detroit where you'll see guys openly carrying shit like this and the cops don't even bother patrolling any more, it's a shame cause its kind of pointless in the overall state of things right now.

do you guys even pay attention to the picture? they're wearing hoodies, they're not criminals.
" ...selling guns on the street is against the law."
no it isn't
" our business model at ATF is patterned around identifying the most violent offenders, or trigger pullers, as we call them," said an agent."
yeah lets pretend waco didn't happen
That's... mate, selling guns on the street is completely illegal if you're doing it in bulk weapons without an FFL license. It's also definitely illegal if they're stolen, which they fucking were.
Oh yeah, and there's also the fact that they were selling Class III NFA Destructive Devices (grenades) as well as Class III SBR's and machine-guns.

US government supplied cartels with guns when they were supposed to be cracking down on it.

Shave and a haircut, two *BANG*s
(God that was horrible)
It's actually extremely easy to build a firearm in the US, legally. As long as you don't build fully automatic weapons you need no paperwork, and only need to be in good standing with the police.
That's what I'm talking about, a collector who would normally buy these weapons (automatics, etc) would most likely build one after getting ATF approval.

Can anyone identify what I'm looking at? To me it appears to be an Uzi or similar SMG with an oddly enlarged barrel with a suppressor attached.
Definitely not something I'd want to stick down my pants but it beats that rifle in the other picture by a landslide.

Yeah I have to admit it does have nice spots. The whole google commercial was nice too. I just say it since I love on the "border" of nice and bad (Saint Anne and Bagley if anyones wondering) and if you go down one side. It slowly gets badder with gangs and all that. If you go in the other it's nice new people then downtown. I feel bad for my ignorance .

I'm not sure why it's like that, especially since your usual MAC-10 has a tiny as fuck barrel. That's one of the reasons why it was popular back in the day.
