Dunno, it was posted to the elite section of diablo 3 exploits and then deleted promptly afterwards.
Is there any reasoning behind the bug? It just seems so randomly specific.
Yes, there is "reasoning" behind the bug. Bugs are often times very specific because how games are coded. That's true for most large pieces of software really.
Yes, there is "reasoning" behind the bug.
So mind telling me? Or are you just shitting words for the sake of commenting?
I finally got in the game for a few hours, and when ever i have traded with Templar its been fine. however if you leave the game or the server goes down, its a bitch trying to get back in.
Was that the original release date?
i haven't experienced a single problem. i log on in seconds and everything runs so smooth.
So mind telling me? Or are you just shitting words for the sake of commenting?
Because of the nature of code there is always a reason something doesn't work (or does for that matter). I don't know what that reason is; it's the job of the developers to debug the software and find out what is causing the issue. You asked initially, "is there any reasoning behind the bug?" You did not ask what the reason was.

And by reason I mean a reason like, player of class X gives shield to templar and it bugs because of reason Y like player isn't supposed to have templar or a shield or some other ingame reason, not an obvious reason like "software has bugs".

A typo perhaps, but the issue was not in my interpretation, rather your post. There's a difference between a reason and reasoning. reason: A cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event. reasoning: Think, understand, and form judgments by a process of logic. Computers by nature use logic, thus there is reasoning behind the bug. The reason however isn't something I can know (at least not without being told).

I just wanted to know an ingame reason why the bug happens. If you don't know why, why the hell did you reply.
damn and i just got this game in the mail too
Guys I can't log in to my single player game PLZ HALP
"Teaking stage" for over 2 years they said. Shit game, I said.
"Teaking stage" for over 2 years they said. Shit game, I said.
yes because diablo 3 is the first game to have launch day problems therefore the whole game is shit.
Even if the servers were fucked at the midnight release, I've co-op'ed through act 1 and 2 without problems.
The funny thing is, I played a Demon Hunter and I gave him a shield :suicide: fuck what is going to happen to me.
and that is the problem. No one can do anything about this and no one has attempted to do anything about this. I seem to remember the United States succeeded and gained independence from England because we were not happy with how we were treated.
-a Diablo 3 player from battle.net forums on the issue of the login errors

If you don't know why, why the hell did you reply.
Because you were asking if there was a reason for it. Which there is. Computer bugs always have reasons, no matter how randomly specific they might seem, because that's how computers work. Absolutely everything has a reason for happening. But when you ask what the reason is, you are asking for something we do not know*. We are not the dev team. We do not have access to that kind of information.
Come on people, as someone else said, apart from the completely understandable login problems the game is running glitch free. And even getting in doesn't take too long. I really can't understand the logic behind screaming "OMG! Server overloaded, I can't login!!! Shittiest game ever! I'm spamming my password as fast as I can! I have to play now now now!" If you truly feel it is shit, why bother trying to connect so desperately?
Yea those games are chalk full of glitches.
Best fucking glitch in a game ever next to the dragons that fly backwards in Skyrim.
When bugs are very specific you don't always need to be dev team to guess the reason.
Always being the operative word. In this case, you do.
Come on people, as someone else said, apart from the completely understandable login problems the game is running glitch free. And even getting in doesn't take too long.
Here's my perspective on the login issues. It is literally impossible to say it is completely understandable for there to be server errors. Of course, it makes sense, but if they want to develop a game that requires server authentication to play, then it better be fully operational on release. The excuse that they didn't expect that many people connecting is bullshit. They knew that release was going to be the highest overload the server was going to need to handle and should have accounted for that. I'm not judging the rest of the game, but if a company wants to implement an always online system, then they need to make sure it is operational 100% of the time regardless of the excuse.
-a Diablo 3 player from battle.net forums on the issue of the login errors
Normally I'd be surprised but this is the battle.net forums, they're arguably worse than SPUF for god's sake.

In fact, the servers crashing on opening night was to be expected, but not having a proper queue system and servers still not responding properly 20 hours after release is not acceptable, especially considering Blizzard's experience with server maintenance and high number of people trying to login. I just don't feel it is right to call the game shit (I guess it is more of an emotional response but still) just because of login problems. In fact it is the people who call the game shit and keep copy/paste spamming their passwords who cause the system to crash and burn.
So about that pre-order I did and how the wind took it. Seems to me someone claimed that pre-order when they found that receipt before I had any time today to do anything about it.
You guys forget Stalker's Amazing Glitches?
I'll remember that game until the day I die. :v:
This game has been the best error simulator so far, kudos to Blizzard.
I never had this issue even though I was using the Templar all day (and replacing his shield). Hell, I logged in at 8:30 AM and was able to stay online until they completely shut the servers down for a bit. There were a few hours of maintenance where no one was able to log on/a lot of people were kicked out and I was perfectly fine the entire time.
