I fear that after ISIS is largely dealt with, there will be a similar situation to Afghanistan in the 90s, post-mujahideen, when the ex-muji and the police were so corrupt and treated the broken people so poorly that the Taliban was formed in anger against the government.

The big man himself, Qasem Soleimani, in Fallujah meeting with Popular Mobilization Unit leaders. For those who don't know, he is the commander of Iran's Quds Force which is a Special Forces unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran's presence in this is not to be underestimated
Woah, reading this, the guy seems like a real badass. Like those WW2 military commanders with fancy titles you read about, except living in the modern era. "Shadow commander" is pretty fancy lol.

Yeah... That entire town is going to be nothing but rubble and burnt corpses by the end of the month.
BATTLE OF FALLUJAH ROUND III: WHO WILL WIN?
Really though, isn't this technically the third battle for Fallujah? Fourth if you count Daesh taking the city?

"Hajj Qasem", "Iran's very own Erwin Rommel", "fearless" since he apparently goes out to the front lines and doesn't even bother wearing a flak jacket, and even Keyser Soze comparisons. Holy shit, that's awesome.

I think that's long past. Iraq is a wreck already in that regard.
