I don't care how much people spit it out and preach Islam is a religion of peace. We see nothing but violence in the name of Islam and Allah, sure they say they're a religion of peace but when these horrible acts and crimes are happening they sit and do nothing and allow it to continue. I used to defend Muslims, saying not all of them are like that. But to be honest they're all just as worst as the extremest. They allow it to continue and will remain in the dark-ages as long as they keep this going. I'm sick of hearing "oh it is a peaceful religion" then next day later read in the headlines "Woman stoned to death because she shown her face."
Go a head and try to defend it and use the whole "lol Christians are mean too." argument, at least they're not blowing themselves up in an attempt to murder innocent people. You don't see them beheading people in public places, sure Christianity was awful back in the old times, but this is the 21st century, stop nick picking at the past and look at what is happening now. Don't see them doing it do we? Sure they might be intolerant (depends on the branch/church) but we don't see any physical acts of violence simply mean and hateful opinions. Christianity has never breed this much violence. Hell even the most common Islamic followers got pissed off because someone drew a picture of Muhammad. They TRIED to fucking murder the cartoonist. I know no religion is perfect but this is just ridiculous.

While many Muslims are nice people and whatnot, most of them are VERY close-minded.
If I showed my parents this (they're Muslim), they would tell me that these scholars "read it wrong" or "got the wrong meaning" from it, and would also probably suspect I am homosexual because I'm reading this.

the vatican is ruled by that leader, saudi arabia is not
the vatican exists solely for religious reasons. saudi arabia contains the holiest sites of islam in addition to an actual country
