Wish I was there, I love bad weather, rain and shit. It's bloody awesome, especially when you're out there.
Its fucking cold and wet. Not awesome when you get pneumonia
If we stayed at home for every serious weather warning that the Met Office puts out nothing would ever happen. Just to clarify, THIS is from a massive storm: THIS is bad weather: [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Bad_weather.JPG[/img_thumb]
I woke up to the sound of heavy rain, car alarms and the cat pawing at my bedroom window begging me to let it in. (funny because it was his own fault he was outside, sneaking out the bathroom window and making a clatter after we locked it in.)
Safe from water yeah, but them chavs sure will get ya'
The chavs all live down south, i hardly get them at all. [editline]03:03PM[/editline]
Just had a tad bit of rain here in the Midlands, nothing too serious though.
Was really sunny here in the morning then it began to drizzle for an hour then the winds picked up. Guess we're getting the back end of it.
You guys aren't allowed to bitch until you've lived in Florida and stared down a hurricane or two.
^ What Venn said
It's been raining like a motherbitch for most of the day here in north east London. It was so bad that it woke me up this morning.
this explains why my power was out for 1/2 hour yesterday :(
i was woken up this morning by a fucking loud clap of thunder, it set off a couple of car alarms
It seems fine now.. Clouds have parted to blue sky.
Well things like this make me glad I'm a northerner.
I'm up north and it was raining like a motherfucker for at least a solid hour earlier.
So it rained a little bit over here.
Hey look, graphs of how damp and miserable it's been during the storm! Total Rainfall (it's a total since I started recording, so ignore the key, it fucked up) Wind Speed (actual, gust) Source: me
This has hit my town pretty hard. We ALMOST flooded, got the defences ready. Me, my dad and my sisters boyfriend gave it a "dry run" and can get our flood defences out from the cellar and into place in just under 5 minutes. Been raining pretty hard and VERY windy. Luckily we're on neap tides rather than springs at the moment. If we were on springs then i'm not sure i'd be making this post right now...
Never get any fierce weather over Ellesmere Port (Cheshire) fucking sucks monkey balls.
Southern ponces whining about bad weather, this is normal shit for the North
you're all a bunch of girls. a little bit of rain, and that's it, you're all fucked. i can't believe that even made it onto the news tbh
It pissed down so much recently that you could run and slide on your feet along the stone floor in town. So awesome
I swear I just saw some fucking fencing fly past my window..
Lucky bitches it's so goddamn hot here in Melbourne.
Just looked on the Met Office website, it seems the lovely, eerily calm weather we have today down here on the south coast (The stretch from Brighton - Worthing, anyways) is only a breif break, it's going to REALLY kick up again Monday through until Thursday (Possibly friday as well, haven't seen the forecast for that far ahead yet)
South-east is pretty safe, nothing really that bad. We're just told to be aware, in the unlikely case of flooding. South-west is fucked though :downs:
oh, such a pity. nice clear skies up north :smug:

pretty sunny on the south east coast, aside from a spot of wind and rain there's been nothing all weekend.
You should of really put South of England, because its nice and sunny up here in The North.

It has only rained lightly here in Greenock, not even windy. I'm lucky I guess. :v:
