The only solution is to go to Glastonbury every year [editline]30th June 2015[/editline]
That is pretty badass, please teach me the ways of being like that.
Its called common sense and not being a wasteful cunt The campsite next to me left 2 brand new 4-man tents, 2 brand new double air mattresses and tons of unopened food. We took (not really stealing) some crisps and drinks for the way home. And I got some fluorescent face paint that Im sure will come in handy at some point.
I spotted the person who has never gone to such a festival.
Or more, no one gives a shit what you do in your spare time. Now we're going to hear the badass stories of people who once took drugs or went out drinking for 3 nights straight, and then will tell us how they were swapping clothes with randomers or friends for the banter. Seriously no one cares about what you do.
Probably some good pickings in there somewhere. When I went to Glastonbury a few years ago I found a brand new pair of shoes amongst the abandoned tents people had left behind, I still wear them now.
If you look around long enough you could find a baby there.

One day I should go to the festival just to find some nice free shit to sell.
You seem to care deeply about this I think the fun police have arrived to tell us we can't enjoy a thing because they don't enjoy it
Well I care because I wish to cleanse the forum of idiocy. Somehow people have to shoehorn in that they went out in a completely unrelated manner, the true Nick Busby thing to do.
I doubt many of you would want to carry your tents, bags etc and 3 bin bags full of shit for a few miles while on a raw 3 day hangover.
Maybe bringing trash bags in the first place might be a good start, huh?
guys, GUYS!!!! Can we please just sit back, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.
guys, GUYS!!!! Can we please just sit back, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.
Nick Busby approves of the pint.
I wonder how many phones you could find there.
they'll be completely fucked at this point.
Sounds like you need to go out drinking for 3 nights straight
Nick Busby has told me of these experiences before, he thinks it's the proper lad thing to do. It seems that Facepunch would agree with him.
I wanted to share my 100th post here with you guys. I wrote a short speech. Today marks my 100th post with Facepunch. I have been a member of Facepunch since 2012 and it has been a total blast. I started off as the fresh prince of noobair but now I feel as though I am a saint with my fellow 1000+ post friends. Here is to another 1000 posts!
Feel free to start by cleansing the forum of yourself
Pretty witty considering that's coming from an American.
If I went to Glastonbury, this would be me ->
Ha ha, yes! I too would partake in they enjoyment of music, as it were!
its the results of hundreds of thousands of people camping with hangovers
No excuse near the stages. I understand the camping sites being a bit fucked but this is insane. Show some respect for the farm.
can we not just build a big fence around it and lock people in unless they bring a bag full of rubbish to the exit
Pretty witty considering that's coming from an American.
I know right, us Americans are so dumbe
Pretty witty considering that's coming from an American.

Feel free to start by cleansing the forum of yourself

No excuse near the stages. I understand the camping sites being a bit fucked but this is insane. Show some respect for the farm.
Not to mention people pissing on the land The festival was nearly cancelled one year due to pollution levels in the river but people still walk into the urinals, cant be fucked to wait for 30 seconds max for a guy to finish, so piss on the fence RIGHT NEXT TO THE URINAL. I mean cmon, youve made the effort to walk to the fucking urinal, and least fucking piss in it!
Well I care because I wish to cleanse the forum of idiocy. Somehow people have to shoehorn in that they went out in a completely unrelated manner, the true Nick Busby thing to do.
it's your job to "cleanse the forum of idiocy" now? And how is
I did, this morning at around 11am. On a horrendous comedown. Walked an hour to the car then spent 4 hours driving. Besides those pictures are in front of the main stage, where theres no bins so people drop cans and stuff at their feet. Personally I put empties in my rucksack and drop it into a bin when I see one. Shame the majority of people (who spend time at the main stages anyway) dont give a fuck.
"shoehorning a completely unrelated matter"; did you read his post? It his personal experience that is RELATED to the thread material.
I bet Florence killed it, I saw her at Bonnaroo and it was the best time of my life. She is a goddess of a frontwoman.
