No, it doesn't. I'm just pointing out it is paranoid. If you live in assnowhere, who is going to screw with you?
"Guys, listen.. I don't think anyone is going to screw with you in a place where neighbors and police will take quite a while to get to you, therefore being prepared to defend your home against someone who has ample time to victimise you and make a getaway is just paranoia. Please dismantle your guns and simply shake a stick at the perpetrator or call and wait for the police while sitting by idly." By your logic, being prepared for anything is paranoia. Why wear a life jacket on a small motor boat while you're fishing? Why wear a seatbelt? Why get insurance? Why backup files? You know how on fire extinguisher cases, it says "In case of emergency, break glass, take fire extinguisher?" That's because fires happen, and so do burglaries. People aren't sitting there biting their nails and trembling, worrying about all of these things happening, they just have these security measures in place so that, in the event that it does happen, they aren't caught with their pants down. Why is this so hard for you to understand?
