I have played it, compared to CoD 4 its pretty horrible. Compared to all the other FPS games I know of its still pretty bad. Not to say its not fun but it has so many flaws and doesn't try anything new so its really not worth buying.

I think saying it's horrible or even bad is a stretch. I'm normally not much of a multiplayer person, but I found both CoD4 and MW2 to be very addictive.

If you just stick with the SCAR-H, the ACR and all the other weapons everybody uses the game gets pretty boring quick, but if you switch things up and use weapons like the SPAS-12 as a primary weapon, the F2000, the Uzi, pistols as primary weapons and the like the game is really fun.

can't pre-load it for some reason, but who gives a crap, its only MW2.

That's not true, my prime example lifeline. Its a slow boring ass game but its so addicting just to see how bad it is.

I didn't even try. I clicked once and it stayed at 0% and showed no progress then I ran Steam today and it was already preloaded. Despite all the nay-sayers I'm looking forward to trying this, MP is awesome according to few people I know.
I'll try it, but I have always been... somewhat annoyed by the lack of Dedicated Servers.
I did not see this coming.

I'd preload, but on the beta the link doesn't work, and I'm not about to go back to the old version when the beta's overlay is so much better.
For anyone who can't preload it...
It's glitched because of the Steam Beta. You have to switch to the old UI before the button to preload will work. Then, during (or once it's done?) the download, you can switch back.
