At least define things properly if you are going to whine about them.[/QUOTE] Ammunition (the word) is derived from munition. Both are generic terms covering pretty much the same thing. Also the panic buying really as temporary, there's been panic buying for months. People are buying weapons and munitions they don't need or want because for the past few months, there have been hints that munitions will be scarce in the future. Scarce information on scarce goods (or the thought that they are) will lead to panic buying, where about 6 months later some guy goes "Wow what a waste, I got all these useless guns left lying around, I might as well sell them to a family member or friend". Meanwhile a bunch of gun manufacturers go "high five" and count their money whilst reading a book on social psychology.
