I'm usually the first to jump all over Christianity and say how shit it is, but maybe not this time. In school, I learned about the norse gods, the greek gods, the roman gods, and all sorts of other mythologies and legends throughout history. I didn't bitch about that. I can't think of any rational reason why teaching the legends of Christianity is any worse.

I'm a texan. I really hope they don't make us read. I can of course, opt-out since i'm not a christian.

Fine, then teach other religious books as well. There's no reason only the bible should be taught. I'm not saying every other religious book, but as many as possible, like language classes. The only that's certain is that they sure as hell shouldn't teach it as a science class because that's anti-American and intolerant to peoples' beliefs.
