I had to learn Bible in my school. I hated those lessons. It's not a good book for literature, and the teacher who taught me tried to brainwash us all the time. I fucking hate the Bible now. It's also incredibly confusing and rarely makes sense.

well, they better only fucking teach this in high school, after students have the capacity to select a fucking life-guiding philosophy on their own terms this is like a step backwards if not limited to high schools, the Qur'an and the Torah had just as much of a significant impact in history as the bible has. Without educating about other holy texts properly, they're effectively just shoving the Bible down student's throats

It's strange how in the bible God kills thousands of people and is considered the good guy, while the devil kills almost no one and he's the bad guy.

Personally, I don't think the Bible is a bad book, it is actually quite interesting for a fictional text. I just think that people took it too seriously and started to believe everything that was written in it word for word. It would be like people taking Harry Potter and actually believing that there is a magical school for wizards and that if you're special than you can get there and battle other schools of wizards and bad guys and shit.
