Then they came for my mw3 and there was tons of fanboys to back me up.
Look, I dont want the game but if it is banned then we are going to get alot of shitty censorship.
Good, i always thinked that british kids sound so fucking annoying.

omg the world has to stop bout MW3
If you don't like it stop been a willy and don't play it.
Good, I hope it is. We don't want that thing over here.
The amount of agrees on this post is ridiculous
"these games are hyper-real,"
Hahahahahahah CoD is not one bit realistic.
Why are people saying they're okay with it being banned just because people don't like the game? If this got banned because it showed scenes reminiscent of the 7/7 attacks, do you honestly think that it would stop with Call of Duty? Guaranteed other games would be banned as well; if a sequel to CS:S came out, the fact that it features players acting as both Terrorists and Counter Terrorists attempting to either plant or defuse a bomb would probably be enough to convince those same censors to stop the game coming out.
People saying CoD should seriously be banned are going a little overboard. For one thing, there are far worse games than the CoD series out there at the moment, but it's just because CoD is actually one of those games that are popular that people tend to go over the top with the hate for it.

That was that Lutheran priest during the holocaust right?
I hate COD, but if they start banning things like this, how far till the ban good games or video games all together.
I think it SHOULD be banned. Its like letting games use World trade centers. Due to the events of 9/11.
I think it SHOULD be banned. Its like letting games use World trade centers. Due to the events of 9/11.
No one's forcing you to play it.
I think it SHOULD be banned. Its like letting games use World trade centers. Due to the events of 9/11.
...what's wrong with having the twin towers in a game?
I think it SHOULD be banned. Its like not letting games use World trade centers. Due to the events of 9/11.
We should ban L4D2 because one of its campaigns features a town in a storm that looks like what happened in Haiti and New Orleans.
We should ban Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl because people died in that incident. Plus with what's happening in Japan at the moment, playing a game where events that are sort of similar to what's happening over there would be disrespectful.
We should ban games set in a WW2 setting because it's set at a time where millions died and it was horrible and disrespectful.
We should ban anything to do with the war in Iraq because so many soldiers die over there. And we should also ban CS:S because it has terrorists in it every now and then. Oh, and don't forget that we should ban anything with guns in them because millions and millions of people have died due to guns.
Banning any form of media just because someone might be offended is ridiculous. Either put an age rating on it so only mature players can access it, or if you're someone who's likely to be offended, don't play it. Simple as that.
I saw part of the title on the forum index, I thought Australia was going to ban it for having something that would give kids nightmares, like blood or the word "shit".
It's funny because there's probably more swearing in Australian culture than most other countries put together
Either way though, even if it is banned, which it won't be, Activision will still make a shitload of cash on MW3 no matter how shit it is

Not all bro.
Except 99% of us
Vivienne Pattison of Mediawatch UK has "concerns" because "these games are hyper-real,"
Are you fucking serious?
"Oh no a game I don't like is being released, yay it might get banned! Victory!"
Here's a radical idea, why not, now stick with this okay it's crazy but you'll like it.
You let people, play what they want.
Quickscoper.
Fucking radical right, now heres my logic, you stop spending so much time caring about games you don't like being released, and you have more energy to enjoy games you like, and everyone is happy.
But hey that's just some new agey, hippy logic so fuck it.
Quickscoper.
I'll just finish the debate by answering the title question; No. No it won't be banned.

Nah I'm that guy with akimbo'd models/tacky knife that you hate.
blops sold 1.4 million copies in the first day in the UK, banning it would cause a fairly significant drop in revenue. Hopefully this would make them think about releasing another cash cow
I hate COD, but if they start banning things like this, how far till the ban good games or video games all together.
Or entertainment in general. Whenever something gets banned or someone or something gets censored everyone on facepunch is so up in arms about the loss of freedoms. But when its about CoD they're all like "well that's good." Why one thing and not the other? Its the stupid facepunch double standard.
"Hyper Real"?
So in real life when you are shot somebody tosses strawberry jam in your face?
I hope this gets passed, not to censor anyone in the UK, but to finally shut down CoD.
Calm down, I don't like Cod either but if you just keep letting games get banned then it will happen more often.
