I don't understand why the UK is complaining. In MW2, you had to fight through the White House and around other very significant and meaningful areas to Americans. Did you hear any complaints? No. But now that you have to fight in a place SIMILAR to a place that terrorist attacks took place, someone has to be like "OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN" and put crap in the punch bowl. This just doesn't make any sense to me.

How is COD a "cash cow"? Millions of people buy the game and play it enough so that it could be considered a fun game to them. OK, you claim it's over priced and what not, but most people don't give a crap. It's a fun game, to them at least. Facepunch is just mad because Activision makes so much money and they don't like the pricing, while the fail to realize that they have the option of not buying the game,

Like this, Justin Beiber and someone being a dick to a cat are the things that every Facepuncher seems to get stupidly riled up about. In any news thread, if it's like '36 people killed in mass bombing, perpetrator still on the loose' all the comments are just things along the line of 'lol sounds like a blast.' Saying that MW3 should be banned in the UK on the basis that you don't like the game is stupid as hell. Nothing should be banned, for showing something controversial, just because of the nature of the medium. Games might not be there yet, but I hope they some day become an accepted art-form and more accepted in society as a form of expression. I'd gladly stand behind Activision in this, if I could. No games should be banned no matter the developer, publisher, franchise, content etc. I'm disappointed that a lot of people on Facepunch seem to see this as okay. Just because it's MW3 this time, doesn't mean that other games might end up being banned from showing real events.
