Because if a game is bad by your standard, it should be banned. This shouldn't be about whether it's good or not, it shouldn't be banned because censorship is fundamentally wrong. Honestly in any other people were supporting any other form of entertainment they wouldn't split apart into dumb factions like this and it shows that games have a hell of a long way to go before they're considered as legitimate an entertainment as movies or whatever else by gamers, never mind the rest of the world.

I don't see why you guys want this banned. Sure, I dislike call of duty just like the rest of the bandwagon, but banning isn't the answer. Banning games is a slippery slope, whether it begins with good intentions or not. And besides, this is just the government freaking out that a game with guns in it has a level in London
On one hand, it's fucking STUPID to ban a video game just because it contains a scene of terrorism inside of your counry, but on the other hand, it'd be so great if Activision lost the UK's sales of MW3 and the series just fucking died already

People like CoD. You don't change a game completely in a series. Half-Life doesn't do it, Counter-Strike doesn't, Medal of Honor didn't, hell, even Battlefield doesn't do it. People buy CoD for CoD, not something else. Just don't buy CoD, and buy a different game, instead of hating a series for making more of the same (which is what their customers want, judging by them voting with their dollar).

Even if I dislike or hate certain books, movies or games I don't call for them to be banned based on opinions. If Modern Warfare 3 does contain such disturbing content I hope it just passes through the UK untouched with a filter option (as with Modern Warfare 2).
