pizza quality is subjective
except when it comes to deep dish chicago style literally cannot be beaten source: me i work at a pizza place
Saint Louis style pizza is the only thing Saint Louis has done that isn't a point of national shame.
I like my pizzas with BBQ sauce, but not much of it and tonnes of cheese. Thick/pan crust. Most people would disagree - there's no such thing as the perfect pizza.
Oh, and toasted ravioli. That's another thing that Saint Louis doesn't have to hide its face over. Yumm.

an entire pizza for 4$, at tops gas station, shit was amazing yet so cheap
Anything without pepperoni.
Uh-oh. I sense a NY Pizza vs Chicago Pizza argument coming along...
Yeah someone needs to decide second place behind apizza.
While we're at it, Cheesy bread is pretty fucking delicious too.
that looks extremely unappetizing
looks kind of like a scabbed-over sebaceous cyst that someone set on fire
that looks extremely unappetizing
By this post alone I can tell you've never tried it. If you do get around to eating it, just a hint in proper etiquette, you must use a fork and knife to eat it.
All about that NY Pizza. Big, Floppy, Foldable. New York
Your crust is seriously fucked up (greasy, soggy) if you can fold it without snapping it like a twig
I like pizza without a lot of tomato sauce
Your crust is seriously fucked up (greasy, soggy) if you can fold it without snapping it like a twig
soft crust > rigid crust
soft crost > rigid crust
I think my head just exploded
i am eating a XL meat lovers pizza right now. shit is the bomb yo.
Nothing beats New York pizza. Big fucking slices, 21" pies, thin but crispy on the bottom. I worked at a pizza place for a year and we had some of the best pizza I've ever eaten and constantly had people from the east coast asking us if we were from New York. :v: I miss that job. E: Look at this. [t]http://i.imgur.com/JqmDqOp.jpg[/t] MMMMMMMMM
Traditional Italian pizza is still the best pizza imo.
What even is Detroit style Pizza? Poppy seed crust with slabs of tomato? Triple decker stuffed pizza casserole?
pizza with no toppings at all because toppings are too expensive
except when it comes to deep dish chicago style literally cannot be beaten source: me i work at a pizza place
Americans put their sauce on top of the cheese? uncultured swines this is nearly as bad as putting jam under clotted cream on a scone
Americans put their sauce on top of the cheese? uncultured swines
It's called a Sicilian style pizza. I don't know what that monstrosity in the picture is but this is how we did ours (same way with cheese on the bottom, sauce on the top before it goes into the oven) and how it came out. What's the benefit of having the sauce on top? Seems like it'd just be messier.
this is nearly as bad as putting jam under clotted cream on a scone
the fuck is a scone
What's the benefit of having the sauce on top? Seems like it'd just be messier.
helps keep the base crisp because the sauce doesnt moisten it as much iirc [editline]26th October 2013[/editline] man v food taught me this
the fuck is a scone
This fuck is a scone:
And that looks burnt. But maybe I would have to try it first.
Sicilian crust came out crispier because they needed longer to cook, but it's not burnt. Tastes amazing.
soft crost > rigid crust
Personally, I prefer a thick crust with a firm, crunchy base while the rest still remains somewhat fluffy. My sister, however, takes hers barely cooked to the point there the batter is still gooey in some places for some god awful reason. I don't let her make pizza anymore.
