Yet Canadian studies show daily smoking weed to daily smoking cigarettes you are at a greater risk for lung cancer from the weed then the tobacco.

Purely from a logical standpoint, if you disagree with marijuana use, you should still agree with it's decriminalization because it will lead to less crime by default, and less crime overall through taking away one of the criminal enterprises markets.
And don't even give me that "Criminals wil open corner stores" bullshit because even if that is the case it's converting and illegal untaxable market into a taxable market. Literally the worst thing that can happen is the people who are already selling it begin to generate tax revenue.
If criminals decided to set up shops in legit businesses, that is literally the best case scenario and arguing it isn't is stupid. Those criminals are now going to become legit, tax paying business owners who will be working in a field of commerce heavily watched over by the local police and etc.

I would be a-okay with it if they regulated it like alcohol/cigarettes. I'm not much of a drinker, but I do love my cigs. Smoking weed next to them is a past-time of mine that I still enjoy to this day and I hope that we can make some progress on getting this shit unbanned.
I don't do it but I don't care if others do it, as long as it's not indoors or in a car with me.
