Because the republicans have soiled the "conservative" moniker.
Change the name then.
Change the name then.
"Neocon" is already taken.
You know what I find INSULTING? That these men, being GOVERNMENT employees, get FREE health care. They like to talk down about OUR wishes for universal health care, but should they have to get their own? God no. Let us not FORGET, these are the same MOTHER FUCKING ASSHOLES who VOTED THEMSELVES a PAY RAISE EARLIER IN THE YEAR. Jesus fucking Christ.
Calm the fuck down.
george orwell was a socialist, hth
Calm the fuck down.
I apologize, but I find the hypocrisy of our government on the issue of Health Care to be so rotten, it just makes me pissed.
Manipulating ignorance is how the Republicans maintain their power, it's hardly surprising.
george orwell was a socialist, hth
He was also an avid critic of the implementation of socialism and communism as has been in the past.
Why are Conservatives given such a bad sterotype in America while in Britain its the complete opposite?
England is a much more leftist country than America. Our Conservatives are equivalent to your Democrats at the most. Also. Fuck this. NHS has always served me well. Suffering from epilepsy, I would be an uninsurable mess having to shell out thousands for constant medication. Withouth NHS I would be financially crippled.
Because of the south. This really only enforces my opinion that we should, instead of building a wall to keep out Mexicans, take giant chainsaws and extract the bible belt from the US. We could give them to Hungary or something.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a fucking genius right here. -Not being sarcastic- Need any help with that? Democrats may get more support if they tried two things: 1. Stop trying to force a whole cow into a dog's throat all at once. 2. Stop poking the rattlesnake with their bare hands. Translation: 1. Stop trying to push for instant change from private to government funded health care. The chaos that would result in such a rapid transition would make the project fail on a scale unheard of. 2. Democrats in D.C. have stopped using logic and reason to beat back anti-social health care and have started screaming anyone opposing it as racist and nazis. Calling potential voters like this isn't going to help them win any support for the health bill, which is now divided evenly between average Americans.
I think it's easy for Republicans to have a go at the NHS, and it's down to these 3 steps. 1. They need someone to blame 2. They don't know what the S in the NHS stands for 3. The people they represent are dumb-fucking-shits.
i will never understand why the US doesnt already have a NHS. people have died because they cant afford the treatment. thats sickening.

I also love how none of what you're saying actually means anything or is valid advice. And I could have sworn multiple polls have shown 80% of US citizens wanted a public option for health care?

If the legislation was any more gradual, it would simply never happen. At least it isn't eliminating private insurance, that would be too fast.

I think it was 51% against, but thats pretty much half and half.
The less government control the better. Shit's going to hit the fan as soon as the US socializes health care, just like it does whenever the government gains more control over something.
Fucking. Get me my ships of finest wood and 100,000 of the Queen's finest soldiers, we've a rebellion to put down [editline]04:10AM[/editline]
The less government control the better. No, we just have a public health care system AND a private one. This isn't a hard concept.
It perplexes me how in any way the NHS could be Orwellian, let alone evil. Socialist, maybe. It's free healthcare, isn't that technically socialist? I don't know why that would automatically make it evil though.
Those state employed doctors are injecting SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM INTO OUR VERY VEINS Poison I tell you!
COMMIE BASTARDS :argh:
I've yet to see anyone called "racist" in the health insurance debate, and the only place I've seen the opposition compared to Nazis is Fox.
No but Democrats like Nancy Pelosi are calling people who disagree with them unpatriotic. However, Republicans do that too.
The National Health Service has become the butt
lol
The less government control the better. Shit's going to hit the fan as soon as the US socializes health care, just like it does whenever the government gains more control over something.
While there is 'anger' at things the government regulates, health care should have always been one of the things we needed. No one, NO ONE, should profit off of the failed health of others. It is a sickening thing to think of.
The less government control the better. Shit's going to hit the fan as soon as the US socializes health care, just like it does whenever the government gains more control over something.
Good thing the government-controlled police will be there to stop the chaos, huh?
The less government control the better. Shit's going to hit the fan as soon as the US socializes health care, just like it does whenever the government gains more control over something.
The shit never hits the fan when the government gains more control. People getting angry isn't "shit hitting the fan" because nothing ever happens.
The polls I saw said it was like, almost split in half. I think it was 51% against, but thats pretty much half and half.
I do believe that was for nationalized health care. I was referring to a public option. As if there's a difference in the eyes of republicans fnar fnar [editline]06:50AM[/editline]
no but democrats like nancy pelosi are calling people who disagree with them unpatriotic. Healthcare is better than no healthcare, if the waiting times are a problem then go private with their health insurance or whatever.
lol @ uncited populist rage
Yes, you need a citation and at least six relevant qualifications here to have an opinion.
