what? maybe i like the color of their shoes. how is it unacceptable to compliment someone?
though not every social avenue is conducive to the exchange of compliments, it is definitely always more appropriate to compliment someone on their choice of clothing than their body. aka it's never appropriate to compliment strangers on their body, but may not always be inappropriate to compliment someone on a cool shirt or something. not that I'd dream of complimenting a total stranger on any part of their attire, but apparently some people do this in some of the more talkative countries like america.

So many keyboard warriors in this thread
So many keyboard warriors in this thread
Most discussions start out fairly normal then quickly spiral out of control into something that's laughably absurd. Happens in SH threads where any form of Feminism/extensive women's rights talk comes up, which is why it's not even worth bothering trying to have an actual conversation on the topic, because it's most likely going to be like watching a train slowly go towards a brick wall. All is well and fine, but then it connects and it all comes tumbling down.
life seems weird when you cut off so many topics of discussion entirely like they just can't happen between strangers
that's just me though. unless you're talking about attempting to start conversations about the bodies of total strangers, which is overwhelmingly likely to have a negative outcome.
So many keyboard warriors in this thread
this post similarly contributes nothing to the discussion
that's just me though. unless you're talking about attempting to start conversations about the bodies of total strangers, which is overwhelmingly likely to have a negative outcome. this post similarly contributes nothing to the discussion
you can always have a conversation about just about anything if you're charismatic enough I just don't see the point in endless barriers over conversations, why can't we have that discussion? I feel like it's hard to ever make friends in the world if you're already closing routes of discussion off, i don't know, i'm pretty outgoing so that's just how I see things. I love talking to strangers and have found you can talk to just about anyone about just about anything as long as you approach things right.
This entire thread is exactly what /b/ was hoping for when they came up with the idea in the first place.
This entire thread is exactly what /b/ was hoping for when they came up with the idea in the first place.
8 pages of a boring argument that keeps going in circles and the occasional zinger. Keep aiming for the stars, /b/.

Who hasn't had their ass grabbed/been cat called by a stranger at least once in their life?
Who hasn't had their ass grabbed/been cat called by a stranger at least once in their life?
this shouldnt happen ever
this shouldnt happen ever
Oh, huh. I just chalked it up to "weird people do weird things sometimes."
Oh, huh. I just chalked it up to "weird people do weird things sometimes."
its normal people who should know better taking advantage of someone else
aka it's never appropriate to compliment strangers on their body
Why not compliment people on their body? It's very possible to do without being sexual at all. It's more about just not being a douchebag about it.
Why not compliment people on their body? It's very possible to do without being sexual at all.
except most people when doing so either sound too shallow, or they say something randomly without thinking of the consequences.
Most people doing something badly =/= telling people to never do something on it's face. That's like saying, "Most people dance badly, therefore no one should ever dance."
Most people doing something badly =/= telling people to never do something on it's face.
bad reading x1 nothing was implied here, I'm just pointing out that it's rare that people find the right thing to say at the right time instead of something too random.
It looks nice when the gap isn't too big and the belly still touches the bikini but some of these are just ugly.
welcome to the real world, where society makes women feel like shit if they aren't a size 0 and caked in makeup. you, as a dude, have basically no pressure to be a certain size compared to women.
Honestly I think in some ways that body standards are just as harsh on men. People make a much bigger deal out of women's sizes but honestly most women I know who have "hot bodies" or whatever go to the gym maybe 3 times a week or jog sometimes and eat decently, and the only guys I know who girls say have great bodies are dedicated lifters who are on relatively strict diets and go to the gym daily. Media is way harsher on women's bodies but in my experiences with real-life people, it's about the same: i.e. as long as you aren't unhealthily fat or skinny you're usually okay.
except most people when doing so either sound too shallow, or they say something randomly without thinking of the consequences.
The consequence of starting a conversation? I've had people come up to me and say, "Nice shirt" to which I reply, "Thanks." You guys are making it sound like saying anything to anyone is a sexual offense.
I don't get it. Why is it always the same people who start shit out of nothing in threads like these?
I don't get it. Why is it always the same people who start shit out of nothing in threads like these?
to get a rise out of people
I'm glad I'm not the kind of person who gets upset by everything
this shouldnt happen ever
Neither should burglary or murder. We've been working on getting rid of those for about 6,000 years.
I want to see the bikini bottom :)

Wait wait wait now. I'm late but: Thigh gap was a bone structure thing, so if you weren't born with one at normal weight levels, you couldn't get one without losing obscene, unhealthy amounts of weight right? Shouldn't whatever the hell this is be a matter of fitness and muscle definition? In that case, wouldn't it be okay to be proud of it? (bikini bridge is a grossass name for this like wow)
Wow stop talking about priveledged men. this thread is about the women
I'm glad I'm not the kind of person who gets upset by everything
You mean you're not the kind of person who's the victim of anything
That looks fucking disgusting.
was she born without an abdominal wall?
