"Bikini Bridge" upsetting fat people and Feminists
Every day during middle school I was fucking bullied because I was larger than other guys (hell, one of the guys who always pulled this shit was fatter than me, but that's a different story), or because I hated the smell of axe body spray, etc...
Its real, and we don't deal with it.
well you see thats (im srs) a very horrible thing, but understand that when we (or at least I) say something that you dont agree with i never intend to denigrate or make light of your own trauma. we simply disagree on the logistics or even just the wording of certain things.
bullying is a display of dominance, and any good self-proclaimed feminist understands that patriarchy has developed in a way where dominance is the method of social interaction.
i would say that one of the biggest problems is the way we've developed male-male sexuality to be this way, dating back to the roman times. our western society has always viewed this kind of sexuality (which almost all males have imo) only in the terms of dominance.
explain the boy's locker room one. thats a very homoerotic situation imo
the definition of having peers shine a spotlight on physical insecurities and create a psychological mountain out of what's really a mole hill
Where did I state women aren't? I'm only saying that men are as well, and we're blind to it because of how society treats men and masculinity.
literally everyone is agreeing with you that men are pressured to be a certain way
you just don't understand that it's a hell of a lot worse for women
Where did I state women aren't? I'm only saying that men are as well, and we're blind to it because of how society treats men and masculinity.
we know that men are pressured. pretty much everybody who has posted here is a man, so we have a lot of first hand accounts. we're talking about women right now, though. oh yeah, kind of funny how my post became a reality.
nobody's really been saying this verbatim, but i'm really hating this "but we're pressured and we suffer too! you're not allowed to feel bad!" kind of attitude i've been seeing in threads like these over the internet.

idk dude, i, (along with millions of others) am trying my best to lose weight, but being bitched at about being a fat fuck and beign worthless doesn't help at all. i hope i speak for everyone by saying this.
Well heck it's taken me a full blown year to reach to the point where I can easily exercise with 20lbs.
A whole bloody year of every-other-day +20 minutes dedication for something that I can't even show off or put into practical use.
Comparing that to others who gets ribbed by sitting on their couch, it's pretty depressing, but in the long run it'll be more satisfying to reach my goal.
Big thing is tho', you don't see me complaining about those who are as I want to be, instead I take up the fight for my wishes.
literally everyone is agreeing with you that men are pressured to be a certain way

I never stated it wasn't, I stated it was a lie to say that the pressure is "non-existent compared to women" when it really is existent if you pay any attention.
Where did I state women aren't? I'm only saying that men are as well, and we're blind to it because of how society treats men and masculinity.
We're not blind to it, of course men are also objectified to a certain level but this is done to women to a FAR HIGHER degree to the point that it's barely comparable
do a image search for "magazine cover" and count how many times you see a woman showing skin in a sexually suggestive way
then do the same for men
the result will surely surprise you!
reminder that this is exactly what the people who started this wanted
reminder that this is exactly what the people who started this wanted
they made some topical related to a thing, and people who sorta care about that thing started to argue and discuss it, like what happens with virtually any event on the internet?
good for them.
I still don't get what the deal is with obese people who're complaining.
Heck I don't get the deal with people complaining about their physique in general.
If you've got a problem with it, perhaps you should deal with it instead of just sitting around on a computer, writing your opinion.
I'm skinny, 5'7" and 125lbs, and I fucking hate it. Solution? Bought 100lbs worth of weights, set myself the challenge to lift it all in one arm by 2015.
i remember thinking this way in middle school

so what
I helped organise this. I ended up writing and editing some of the piratepad manifesto under the monkier "shitlord". Good times. I personally think this is hilarious, especially since even though the feminists KNOW we're behind this, they still bitch and rage about us. It's been a huge success. Whether or not some newfag whiteknights or whatever is irrelevant. The feminists and fat people we're pissing off don't care, they're just looking for something to get pissed off about. It's hilarious.
Actually, kind of an addendum on that. I like to think it's kind of an exercise of 4chan's "muscles" so to speak. To kind of prove to themselves that raids still happen and they are absolutely still able to socially engineer other people and the media. In my opinion you guys are getting really worked up about this, especially since i'm pretty sure you're all guys aged 16-22. I guess it's also attention seeking, although it's largely irrelevant, since 4chan is anonymous. I like to think it's a parody of the whole "thigh gap" thing, by creating something even more outrageous. Although it wasn't the intention, it did bring attention back to objectification of women and the pressure to conform etc. It made a bunch of SJW feminists look ridiculous, which is funny because tumblr SJW are always hilarious.
so what
Hook, line, sinker, and half the fishing rod...
Debating these issues is actually extremely important so I don't see the harm really.
nevermind

Audiences matter, and yeah it's a terrible thing to do and I'm wholly against it, but there seem to be far more magazines targeted towards men who will do that sort of thing. Not saying magazines targeted towards women don't do the same thing either (look at say a Seventeen magazine).
However, if you look for a magazine does the same thing for men, say Men's Health, well it's the same ball game. http://mediaslutza.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/mens-health-5-may-2013.jpg
It's all built around audiences, and publishers will use whatever tactics need be to gain those audiences. It's like titles here in our Sensationalist Headlines.
Pain can you ever not shitpost?

people always say this but i'm not convinced they have really talked to, have followed, let alone seen a sjw on the internet outside of funny screencaps of the more radical ones. there's plenty of "social justice warriors" on tumblr that i follow that make great posts without being aggressive, belittling, or sending followers to harass people.

yea you made "SJW feminists" look so ridiculous, posting about newfags and how powerful 4chan is today.
milkandcookie, you're really fast to dumb my posts. Use your words dude. How do you disagree with me?
i dumbed that one a little bit too fast haha, thought it was going to be a repeat of your first post about being behind thi spage. while i don't really agree with your method of getting this shit discussed, or your way of getting a laugh, i think it's cool that you added this part

and then what
Yo milk and this, can both of you please use proper grammar and actually USE YOUR FUCKING SHIFT KEY?
Yo milk and this, can both of you please use proper grammar and actually USE YOUR FUCKING SHIFT KEY?
why does it make a difference?
oh yeah here's two hyperlinked examples of "social justice" that you probably wouldn't see screencapped in LMAO pics.
this and this
try not to judge the entirety of SJWs (or any group for that matter) off of a few weird examples. most of the users on tumblr don't really like those guys.
Why does it make a difference?
It's really fucking annoying when people don't use capitalization.
It looks REALLY pretentious.
linking your own tumblr... how degrading
Yo milk and this, can both of you please use proper grammar and actually USE YOUR FUCKING SHIFT KEY?
i'm using proper grammar aside from a few slang words, and am even italicizing and bolding things that are important. i know you don't like pain or my posting, but what's the deal? how is this relevant to the argument at all?

good for you
it makes posts look more informal, which i want

holy shit wee woo is this something degrading to ladies?????
good for you

pretty much this.
i'm not making a detailed op and i'm not writing a letter to the president, so my lack of CaPiTaL letters shouldn't matter as long as my posts are readable.
