And when are you legally allowed to run people over? If he thinks it is breaking a law, notify the police. He broke many more laws than they did.
At worst they would be charged with obstructing traffic, and property damage. He would get many hit and runs and reckless driving charges.

Crossing pedestrians always have the right of way. Just because some were standing there doesn't mean anything considering the mass amounts of people who were actively crossing infront of the car.

The video shows people crossing continuously, that is perfectly allowed, those individuals are not blocking traffic unnecessarily, they are crossing.

This is just like almost every single video about the police; so many people assume that a video shows the complete and full story from start to end, and then make a judgement solely based on that. Nevermind that there was probably minutes, if not more, of leadup to the incident which was recorded. Minutes of valuable context to get the full picture.

except the video/article shows that some people were not moving period and were staying in the middle of the road stopping traffic completely and illegal for doing so. The driver did exercise caution then when he honked his horn for them to move, which people started sitting on the car and "pretending" to open the door where his kids were at. I'm not, I am just saying that t the car is more in the wrong than they are. The other vehicle(the suv) is completely unaffected and was following the law, while he was not.
