This is the worst idea :colbert:
I'm fine with creating an European super state but why Anglo-French Pond?
Why not Anglo-French Channel?
Pond sounds so... weak.
It's like the EU want to cut up britain into tiny pieces and ship them off to different parts of europe.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

There are two sources for this, and they're both the Daily Mail.
Don't despair just yet.

Actually, I just noticed that it is dated April and it talks about it not going ahead if the Tories get into power - which they have - so, yeah, it's not happening.
Well, let's also demand to rename the "Irish Sea" to the "English-Irish Puddle" then.
Nice try, but your so called big navy lost against the Dutch navy.
When?
Also we took down the French and Spanish at the same time

The only country that sailed up the river themes with a war fleet represent :smug:.

It's already hard to let the non-country called Belgium survive, and you are talking about a super state....
I got an idea.
I think that we should call Lake Michigan the Wisconsin-Michigan sea.
Which would be more correct, since Lake Michigan is an inland sea, and half of it is in Wisconsin.
No would would agree with me...
So the Brits are paying to have their channel taken away from them?
I'd be pissed.
I am pissed :(
But but where will I live the Anglo-French Islands?
Not the Channel Islands
What?
Get off my English Channel, Europe.
England doesn't need France, and I certainly do not want them.
So I guess I was one of the few that was taught to be critical of sources in school?
Oh wait Daily Mail. I'm happy again

They should be renamed the Great Canadian Lakes as a whole and each one can get named after a different prime minister
Why don't we call it, the Channel

*slaps you upside the head*
Their called the Great Lakes for a reason jerk off. I don't need to go back to NY, and see Ontario, and Erie being, "Great Canadian-American Reservoir"
Wait... So I'll be alongside Germany and Sweden?
Thank God it's not WW2.
I know.
Lets call it "That bit of water what with dem islands and dat shiz what sits between england and france eh wot"

yeah it's the daily star but there's little to no difference
Why not call it something like the Norman channel?
It's less of a mouthful.
Brilliant idea lets name it after the scandinavians! (The word Norman comes from Nordic Man, the same goes for the Normandie which was once a viking colony.)
