Meh it's the Daily Mail.
You do realize that the "Anglo" part of "Anglo-French" refers to England right?
The Angles were originally German.

Or "The bit of sea preventing world war 3"
Oh the jokes about the Anglo-French relationship, the English love the French really.
What the fuck.
This sounds like something that isn't true, especially with the Daily Mail source.
The EU already steal all of our money to build french roads, now the want even more to rename our channel to a pond?

Don't be dumb, it's the Daily Mail!
If anyone has the chance to see the EU Parliament in action I highly recommend taking it. It's like some awful Dickensian parody of Democracy: everyone scratches each others backs and argument is discouraged; all people do is exchange platitudes.
