That actually surprised me. It was not the normal stuff you see the fox news people asking about. Mind you that the interviewer probably realized he couldn't pull the same shit off with this guy.
More like he knew that his end of it could always be dubbed over, and the editing room would chop up and spin the responses to fit Murdoch's dictated angle.

What they usually do is basically the same thing Jay Leno does with Jay Walking. They have a basic question that they ask a ton of people. Then they edit out all the rational thoughts and only show the retards that don't have a clue, or the really strong opinionated to scare whoever watching. It's actually quite funny.

Ya, guess you are right there....
Or maybe Fox News is nowhere bad as the stereotypes make out.
Nahh :downs:
I think it's good to watch Fox occasionally so you get a well rounded view of what everyone is thinking. Don't limit yourself to one opinion. Use an open mind when watching fox, but listen to what others are saying. It gives you a good grip of their mindset, thus allowing you to have a better idea on what the opposition is thinking rather than just hearing about residual facts from a Tea Party protest or something and then assigning it to the whole Right ideal. You don't have to agree with it to watch it. It's just a good thing to get both sides of the story. Usually when something big happens, I'll look up all the news stations including foreign ones and see what everyone is thinking, then formulate my own opinion rather than eat up what someone else tells me.
Circulate this like wildfire.
Dumped it on to Tumblr. Nobody'll repost it, but, worth a try.
to me this is the funniest thing of all time. their goal is just ending general greed and corruption? who's idea was this? what is their actual goal? I mean they don't think they can just "end greed and corruption" do they? It's like they're just upset in general about their lives, so they go out in protest, but I'm sure the majority don't REALLY know why they're out there other than they're mad. They don't know what they want to actually accomplish, or if they are even trying to accomplish anything other than saying "we're mad!"

I think their goal should be to raise taxes on the rich, that's what they're really vying for anyway, they probably just don't want to say it

You probably haven't read the thread.
Read this:
I got another Fox article, this one compares the Occupy ______ Movement to the Tea Party Movement.

So this means that Fox should start giving the Occupy Wall Street movement money and support now, right?

Good job NYPD, keep making everyone hate you more and more.
so apparently anon is gonna invade wall street
so apparently anon is gonna invade wall street
Well, there goes the credibility of the protests.
so apparently anon is gonna invade wall street
And where was this said? Was it a blog post by one guy acting high and mighty, or what?
read it on know your meme
I know that because I am republican, Christian, and well off my views and opinion here don't matter, but why are you supporting this? It won't accomplish anything. If you truly wanted to protest this you wouldn't do something as pointless as this. Sure it hurts those terrible evil corporations right? Nope, not really. All you're doing is providing for the attention whore of a news media the US has. You aren't fighting to save a country, you're sitting there wasting time that you could spend doing something that might make a difference. I maybe be a terrible person in your opinion but in mine, you're wasting your time and mine.
Just to be clear, not trolling, trying to get a point across which I likely failed at.
because all of anon are rich and are totally not in the situation that the other protesters are in
No, because they're all a bunch of fools who will hind behind Guy Fawkes masks, and want to solve this with anarchy. As soon as the public sees Anon associated with #Occupy, it will be complete unlegitmized because of Anon's past offenses. Anon is the third worse thing that could happen to this (with indiscriminate arrests and riots/violence being the second and first, respectively).

Somehow I doubt the credibility.

Sometimes a bunch of people shouting "I'm not going to take this shit anymore!" is a catalyst to bigger change.

What do you suggest they do? Mail their senators the ~10 million dollars each it'd take to offset how much the corporations are putting in? When there's no way to change the system, the best thing to do might be shouting.

so by your logic every protest there ever was and ever will be is utterly pointless.

Hell if I know, I'm just a disgruntled teenager that doesn't give half a shit. None of it personally affects me and therefore I will take no action with or against it beyond stating my opinion. Call me selfish, call me a cold hearted bitch. Life isn't fair and I need to look out for myself and my family above all else.

You don't give half a shit about the economy, about corporations influencing politics to the degree that they are? Believe it or not, if the stock market crashes, it will affect you.

No, they won't. I(rather sadly really, I quite like it here)will be moving back to Asia long before it crashes. While yes, the US's death throes will be felt around the world, they will have very little effect on the small piece of nowhere that I and my family will be moving to.

So basically you're ignorant of the world and proud of it?

Seems pretty sad not to have a shred of empathy for these people, even if you intend to move away.

As stated by my father rather bluntly, the world we live in today was built by survivors. It was then refined so that anyone could make and now society is built for pussies(:/). If the world still ran on the concept of survival of the fittest, this wouldn't have happened and the mulling limp dick'd dregs of society would never have drug us this low.
While it is fairly obvious how extreme he is, his ideas do have some merit. People should prosper based on how they live, how the work. It shouldn't just be taken from hard working people just so some asshole who won't work can waste away comfortably.
You do realize it's all relative and connected, and that the entire world economy is on the decline?
Yes but the connection is as thin as a spider's silk where I will be moving.
With this, I withdraw from the argument. Good luck with your protests; I know not what will become of it.

If by the dregs of society you mean the gamblers we call bankers, yea I agree.

Yes, I'm sure if we just flattened the income tax, got rid of all welfare, and removed any semblance of business regulation, we'd be so much better off!
I have a feeling this may get ugly as in the protests getting violent.
