There's lots of people there, communists, Ron Paul supporters, anarchists, Liberals, Socialists, Revolutionary communists, progressives, libertarians, artists, all groups are there. The guys flying that flag are pretty intelligent and know what they're doing. The entire protest is about the failure of capitalism and corporatism in the government.

Also, there were a few live-wires but they're few and far between. At night the Ron Paul people and the truthers were there for a little while, but that was the most of it.

Now I know the whole point is "How can this be done?" and in honesty I don't even know. I just wish it can happen because I can dream. These movements have the ability for everyone to benefit and make a difference, so Communist, Fascist, Left or Right wing, we all shape and change new policy if we continue this effort.

It's amazing. In the last few years it has gone from being morally taboo to consider yourself to be a socialist to being popular because you are for helping your fellow man. I can cite portions of the constitution that support my political affiliation and generally nobody bats an eye, and most support it. I only wish it wasn't such a dirty word in the rest of the country. I've met a few that seriously associate socialism with godless communism, despite the fact that Jesus would very much be for a communist or socialist society based on his teachings.

Ayn Rand got the whole atlas metaphor backwards. The working class is the atlas. You could replace any of these CEOs with tons of people in the middle class equally smart, but if the working class collectively 'shrugged' I'd love to see the top 20% deal with that.

Everyone else does, and it heavily influences spending habits for some people. Why is it okay for a CEO to pay less in taxes than a librarian, how is that fair?
