I'd rather not have a semi-dictatorship join the EU. Even more so after incidents, coupled with the fucking denial of a genocide and occupation of Cyprus. And this is fucking being blackmailed, that is what this is.
Sounds like Turkey did this on purpose.
I have a bit of a conspiracy theory that Turkey has deliberately destabilized Syria to get back at Europe. Considering Erdogan and his cronies are a bunch of maniacal assholes, I wouldn't put it past them.
Why not instead pay Greece and Bulgaria. Instead of being essentially being blackmailed by Turkey. Turkey has a large border while the border of Greece and Bulgaria is a lot smaller. [t]http://i.imgur.com/2SOCr1Q.png[/t]
my eyes went straight to the city called batman
We got offered EU membership last month but we said no
You can't just be 'offered' EU membership like that, you can be offered the chance to be examined to determine whether you meet any of the criteria that would allow you to further the process of negotiating a path to eventual membership

[t]http://i.imgur.com/2SOCr1Q.png[/t]
Because Bulgaria and Greece aren't capable (and shouldn't be made) to be barriers for the European Union. Bulgaria with it's 7 million people will collapse in every sense of the word if it has to take in the amount of refugees that Turkey does.
