I hope he gets re-elected but most of America views him as some kind of terrorist constantly trying to take our civil rights away.
Well to be fair he did sign the NDAA to codify the overly extensive powers he and other presidents had under the AMUF.
Well to be fair he did sign the NDAA to codify the overly extensive powers he and other presidents had under the AMUF.
He had no choice. To not sign NDAA would be to not sign the years military budget and commit political suicide. He had no real choice.
Sorry, but looking back at the last three years of his term, i'm not going to trust the man with "damage control".
And you'd trust it to a multimillionaire that tried to say he was not rich? Obama is damage control. For every derp thing he does every GOP candidate will derp in triplicate. The GOP WILL fuck us over if they get a hold of the oval office this year, with Obama we at least stand a chance of still having a salvageable nation left. On a side note, if he does get re-elected, I forsee him getting some teeth with regard to derp bills like SOPA, PIPA and NDAA 2012. If he's ineligible for re-election anyway, as all second-term presidents are, he has nothing to lose by telling Congress to go fuck a rhinoceros when it hands him something stupid, whereas doing it now would be political suicide.
I can't wait to see Obama in some debates again. I think an Obama/Paul debate would be awesome.
Do you have any sources for that?
http://www.reuters.com/article/2010/07/21/us-financial-regulation-obama-idUSTRE66K1QR20100721
If anything, his over-regulation is causing many businesses to shut down. Four small businesses in my town were shut down because they didn't meet the EPA's ridiculous standards.
Do you have any sources for that?
How about you find a site that actually lists all the things hes done, rather than just the mediocre, "good stuff".
"Created more private sector jobs in 2010 than during entire Bush years"?
America: Where presidency is like a product commercial.
"Created more private sector jobs in 2010 than during entire Bush years"?
Pfft, everyone knows stuff like THAT doesn't count! :downs:
America: Where presidency is like a product commercial.
Running for president today is more like a giant popularity contest. As long as you can give a pretty speech, you aren't batshit crazy, and you look good, you'll win.
I don't see anything getting better under Obama however, or should he not have to worry about it?
He fucking stopped it from getting worse. If any of you actually took a government economy class it would be crystal clear that if the Federal government hadn't intervened we'd be thrust into a second world nation heading for third. And the rest of the world would've collasped as well and we would've had third world war because desperate times calls for desperate measures. This was worst case scenario people.
Sure, I'd love to take some pictures and talk to at least the electronics shop owner
I starting to think you're just angsty and found the government while looking for someone to blame for plain old bad luck.
