Oh, now I understand. But could someone think I meant THAT cool and not cool in the sense of being calm/not troubled?
Just awkward phrasing, really. You could have phrased it better, but I get your point and where you are coming from. Calm or collected would be a better way to put it, as stuff like this can sometimes bring out crazies who idolize them. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Too many people admiring him, statistically someone on this forum is likely to. Sorry, just came off that way
He won't be breathing for long he'll be dead before the night is over. I also find it disgusting that the media is showing all of this like it's some kind of sick entertainment sensationalizing it like they always do.
People need to see this stuff IMO. Too often do folks just read about a shooting or murder and glance over it. This is what really happens, this is the cruel world we live in.
Snip- He clarified
What the fuck do you mean he's cool as fuck dude seriously
I think he meant cool as in "calm, cool, and collected".
Too many people admiring him, statistically someone on this forum is likely to. Sorry, just came off that way
I'd say more than one on this forum probably admire them.
What the fuck man? You think a guy killing an innocent person is "cool as fuck"?
No he doesn't we figured it out it's OK
What the fuck man? You think a guy killing an innocent person is "cool as fuck"?
How about you read the rest of the page before posting

I need people to realize that kevlar and other similar bullet proof vests do NOT work like the movies.
Yes, most will stop a small arms and rifle round from penetrating your body, HOWEVER, that energy doesnt just dissipate into nothing. You are still being slammed with a massive amount of force, and people who are shot in BPVs tend to have ribs break and organs bruise. In other words, it knocks the snot bubbles out of you. You dont just get hit in the vest and shrug it off like no big deal.
Drugs alone not enough for walking off hits like that at that range. Guy is wearing some high end body armor, has to be. Might be some kind of drugs in the equation though, help him focus.
wouldn't be surprised if they were on some sort of stimulants

He said he meant that as in a calm or collected way. He already clarified that (although this is a fast moving thread), so it's probably best to move on.

Hopefully it stays at 4, no more lives need to be lost tonight.
The shooter of one of the videos said the officer engaged the suspect, visibly hit him with a round but the suspect didn't react.
That cop didn't stand a fucking chance jesus.
Fun fact most people don't notice when they get shot if it's from long range or they are mid combat, ie not extremely obvious they were shot.
People only fall over when they realize they've been shot and they only do so because Hollywood has programmed our brains to do so. So if this guy does have training that's why he didn't react, he's not super human.
Bullets themselves do not have the power to knock someone down.

There were some reports during the Iraq war of soldiers hitting insurgents close range with their m4s and they kept running.
Honestly there have been enough people borderline celebrating over this shit. We're at Poe's peak right now.
Right, forgot about that. Will keep wording in mind next time.
This is going to get bad.

REAL bad.

It's like the thing keeps escalating and escalating.

Oh yeah, that also. If it doesn't hit something vital, then it doesn't incapacitate right away.

I got 10 more by using Firefox and then Chrome, but when this ends I will have no more stream I guess.
I'm wondering why that cop was alone, what a fucking tragedy.

I agree. I would take more of an issue if the media was withholding this stuff from us.

Someone throwing his life away like this could easily get a high end plate carrier that would allow him to shrug them off but even then at that range I wouldn't count on it being painless. Guy is probably on something to steel his nerves on top of the armor.
I think he meant cool as in "calm, cool, and collected".
Yeah sorry, just saw the explanation, thread is moving fast.
the way that shooter moved reminded me of a video I saw of keanu, not even military and he was able to do moves like that through publicly available training

probably thought he could take him out close range. one guy next to him and a bunch far out aiming their guns, you'd think the suspect would think twice and surrender; no one expected the guy to RUSH IN and shoot the fuck out of him.

Still not something anyone can do, I've owned an AR for years and consider myself a smooth operator and I'm not even close to that. You need a lot of time for a lot of practice with these drills, time that most people don't have. A few groups have that time - military being one of them so that's why the idea he's a vet is getting thrown around. And even Keanu probably couldn't keep that up under return fire.

i'm more convinced they've got some sort of combat experience by their level-headedness under fire
Might be a vet, from the way he held it and the way he moved he at least had some semblance as to how to handle a weapon.
F&M and MuF aren't exactly Tier 1 skills that only operator use. You can find PDF,Docs, etc on how to properly execute it and with practice you can essentially over power most people. Due in part most people these shoots outs, the Police never expects the shooter to actually press the attack.
That being said it might be a vet, might be someone who saw this online and trained with it.

The Main difference being that he's shooting targets. The shooter is shooting people, people that fire back.

The officer approached from behind and shot him in the back.
Police are reporting armored suspects. Same thing happened in the NH bank robbery. You can see the suspects taking rounds to their armor in the videos.
wouldn't be surprised if they were on some sort of stimulants
Maybe they were in the Army in Afghanistan Iraq or somewhere like that at one time? Or maybe they're trained terrorists?
