Something is really scary about six trained cops getting killed by how many- four people? Starting to believe the theory that these guys had training. Wonder if they are just ex-military or part of ISIS or some underground movement or what.

Suspect might've shot himself.

So, has this been confirmed as a planned attack yet, or was it just a few street thugs. Also, just heard that (this is also hour old news) that there are supposedly bombs planted all over downtown Dallas, this is a terrible situation

I'm still convinced an incident like this is one step towards a likely civil war at this point. Look at this mayhem. Snipers, possible bombs, a potential riot, and heated statements all over, both online and offline.

I'm scared to go anywhere tomorrow. This is terrifying. I feel sick to my stomach. I'm fighting back tears. No more deaths, please. Please.

If it's the goverment against some people, that's never going to be a war so much as extreme civil unrest. If it's the government against all the people, that's both absurd and impossible from a logistical point of view for the government. If it's all the people vs all the people, with the goverment clamping down on all of it in a desperate bid for preservation, that's more possible but frankly to have two or three distinct groups fighting each other would require a very organized set of actors which don't really exist right now
