Give VinLAURiA's post a read. I'm going to bed. See you in the morning!
Right, but im just saying, the US Gov. has a vested interest in making sure that kind of thing doesnt happen.
Camo guy was arrested again for asking "Where's my gun?" immediately after he was released.
Jeez. Poor guy.
This is about what I expect barring straight civil war.
New York Post, Fox, sensationalist "news" media, They are doing everything short of selling us the weapons to slaughter each other with.
Camo guy was arrested again for asking "Where's my gun?" immediately after he was released.
Source? That's pretty stupid if true, especially given he is innocent. :/

Probably for the best, safer in a jailcell then on the streets
and new york post article

This is probably one of the most disgusting front pages I've ever seen.
Camo guy was arrested again for asking "Where's my gun?" immediately after he was released.
Whether this be true or not, I wonder if it would just be better to keep him safe in a cell overnight, for his own safety, and so random people who don't know that he isn't a suspect anymore identify him and draw some police toward a call that isn't needed.
But I'm hearing that they think this whole standoff thing is over?

He said so in this interview

It's from the man himself (and his brother). ABC did an interview on their lifestream.
jesus fucking christ
the shots sound like fucking thunder rolling or something

I live in a garrison town close to a military firing range, and I hear almost that exact sound on a regular basis.
You know someone is heavily armed when he's making sounds exactly the same as a army firing rage, but in the center of a city.
I imagine that guy is going to be getting a lot of calls from law firms tomorrow that want to represent him in a deformation lawsuit

hes again released
Fair enough, though I don't really know what better term to use than "civil war" to describe a nation violently turning against itself, even if the government itself hasn't gotten involved yet.
Well civil war by definition is two powers of one state fighting for control over the state itself. I know what you mean though, civil unrest feels too impotent to convey that sort of thing, and Revolution implies that the actors are fighting to replace an existing goverment.
That would be a very strange situation. The only similar event i can think of is the Blues riots in Justinian's Constantinople, but that was just rioting over Justinian's treatment of some prisoners, not groups under protracted non political "warfare" with each other and not a state power

I think that would be illegal. He needs to be detained for a very good reason.

provided he doesnt kill himself or gets killed

Gotcha. I was mostly following the Fox Livestream.

only fox seems to be carrying that news, I haven't seen any announcements on any other news channel's website or social media handles after I checked them just now.
I think that would be illegal. He needs to be detained for a very good reason.
I think if he requested it, or if the police gave him the option for his safety, it wouldn't be illegal. But I don't know.
Tactical channel 7-6-16 just referenced a few FBI units.
provided he doesnt kill himself or gets killed
Yeah I imagine he wants his rifle back pretty badly
I think if he requested it, or if the police gave him the option for his safety, it wouldn't be illegal. But I don't know.
Idk how it would work if he requested it. I'm sure they offer protection programs.
It's evident that he wasn't enjoying police keeping him captive.
I imagine that guy is going to be getting a lot of calls from law firms tomorrow that want to represent him in a deformation lawsuit
I don't think he's that bent out of shape about it.

Protective custody is a thing, isn't it?
I think that would be illegal. He needs to be detained for a very good reason.
BY his own free will, but suggested by the PD
Christ, it's like half of FP is in here right now. Any updates on those "bombs"?
CBS is confirming that a suspect did indeed shoot himself.
Protective custody is a thing, isn't it?
I think that's an upon request thing, unless you're a child.
This is a pretty good video - a media interview with the falsely accused suspect and his brother. Been posted before, but I found a YouTube upload so I could embed it. Dude's brother's a good speaker.

No news about them so far, PD looks like they're not taking any chances though and are approaching the building very carefully.
