So it wasn't an SKS?
Anyone else weirded out as to how there were literally no remains left
a big ass explosion in an confined area will do that to a person.

How did his gun survive then?
Not being made of meat.
It would be burned pretty badly, some parts would possibly be melted, and it would be missing tons of parts, would it not?

Explosions are a lot smaller and less spectacular than you think
Explosions are a lot smaller and less spectacular than you think
I'm not convinced.
Of course you aren't, meanwhile under the laws of physics it only takes about 8 lbs/in to the head kill a human being, and the explosion was more than that regardless of how much property damage it did in a confined space.

I'm talking about the weapon.
I'm talking about the weapon.
He meant the explosion was just small enough to only kill the shooter and not do significant damage to his weapon or the surrounding building. I've seen weapons survive much worse explosions i.e. all of the ISIS weapons that were dragged out of the destroyed convoy in Fallujah recently.

The press conference was wrong. A photo of his remains have leaked onto the internet. His upper torso, arms, and head survived at the very least.

Explosions don't kill through heat. They kill through either the shockwave of the blast or the shrapnel produced.
picture of the shooters body if it wasnt posted yet
nsfw obviously. don't click if you dont like blood.

why does anybody need to see that
why post that
why does anybody need to see that

because people were posting the rest of the crime scene leaks
might as well do the inevitable.
dont want to see it don't click it. it's not like i embeded it into the post (which would be terrible) and i put a big nsfw disclaimer on it.
theres also no fp rules about it as far as i know.

What a beautiful sight. Once a person decides to gun down innocent people in cold blood, they cease being a person in my eyes, and fall below rabid animal on the empathy ladder. Nothing but violence in the news my entire life, 15 years of war, That's just how I am now
Take it easy with that edge, man. You might cut yourself.
Good riddance to that fucker, hope it hurt.
Well depending on how close the blast at first he was thrown into the wall shattering his bones; then from being in an enclosed space his eardrums imploded and his internal organs were shredded to bits from the over pressure.
Take it easy with that edge, man. You might cut yourself.
It's no edge. I just don't feel compassion what so ever for people who have a moral compass so fucked up they'll gun down a bunch of innocent people in the streets
I understand that, but you could have skipped that last sentence as it adds nothing but angst to the previous sentence, one I also completely agree with.
Hey guys guess what.

They're trying to make BLM a terrorist organisation. I wonder why :weeb:
I'm not convinced.
This was reality, not the movies. You shouldn't base your understanding of weapons, explosives and police handling of things on Hollywood.
Has there been any news on the other captured shooters?

That's...kinda dumb. I mean I hate the movement, but this is like calling OWS a terrorist organization if someone decided to assassinate some wealthy bankers. This event has tarnished their name so badly it's not worth trying to go and try to get them listed as terrorists.
My main issue with using the robbit as a bomb is they may have just nullified a perfectly valid method of negotiating safely with future shooters. Now that it's been all over the news - and the police who performed the action praised - that a shooter was killed using an EOD bot rigged with explosives, it'll likely affect the possibility of using an EOD bot for remote negotiations in the future.
A criminal who has holed themselves up seeing one of these things may refuse to work with the police, or actively try to disable the robot to prevent it from potentially blowing them up (depends how obvious explosives would be on the machine really I guess). Now they know there is a precedent that these things can be rigged as weapons, are they really going to want to let one come near them?
I wouldn't go near that thing regardless.
Which I've openly criticized in the past - BLM Toronto has some absolute nutcases leading it, and should be ashamed for diluting the message of BLM.
I don't give a shit about what you criticize, the group does what the group does and I'm going to judge them on that.
I'm not convinced.
An explosion is a wave of pressure. The pressure wave will destroy meaty targets and leave everything else relatively untouched assuming that it was not confining the pressure wave.
