Well that pastor DOES sound like the definition of a witch, soo....0
"it's alright to harass people as long as they are people i don't like!"
imo starting a witchhunt because one person didnt tip you sounds like a really petty thing to do like, grow the fuck up and welcome to the world of adults. people are dicks and theres nothing you can do about it, you move on
Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Its when you do the same thing over and over and expect something different to happen. That is fucking crazy.

I'm not saying the waitress isn't guilty, but this was overkill and anyone with half an ounce of sense could have seen firing her was going to backfire massively.

I assume it was just a way of having a laugh over the whole situation with people on the internet.
Applebee's having done this themselves and later trying to cover it up doesn't change what the waitress did, but they need to answer for themselves now too
What the hell, guys, Applebee's tastes awesome.
it's not even that she didn't leave a tip, it's that she skipped on her fucking bill it was a gratuity fee for having so many goddamn people
How can you stay mad at this?
Did you read the new article? Applebee's broke there own 'privacy policy' themselves two weeks prior with a positive receipt.
How do you know they didn't ask the guy who wrote the note for his consent for it to be posted online?
Wait did the girl who got stiffed get fired, or the one who took the photo?
How do you know they didn't ask the guy who wrote the note for his consent for it to be posted online?
seems unlikely considering they removed the picture from their facebook.
Man, girl was in the wrong, but holy shit Applebees handled this horribly.
Well, if she would even at least give out a dollar instead of holding unto it, this whole fiasco would have been avoided. It's because on person's greed that has caused this great uproar. Wouldn't it have looked better if instead of She wrote instead Its just a dick to hold on on tips in general, even more to base it upon God. It just irks me because I don't even act that way. Now those waitresses will remember the people of God as money-hungry assholes that got them fired for the rest of their lives. You affect people indirectly whether you like it or not
Wait, you do realize she left the tip? Why do you have 5 agrees... Has no one actually looked into this?
i do too.
Strange, you're acting like she committed a war crime or something.
she started a fucking witch hunt which is outrageous.
No. No she did not. She just ranted a bit about some stingy bitch that tried her damndest to skimp a friend/coworker out of a tip. Reddit is the one that started the witch hunt, with a lot of aid from the bitch herself seeing as she called in and whined. If you're going to blame anyone for the witch hunt, blame the right group here.
it's totally unprofessional.
Because everyone always has to be 100% professional regardless of what's going on? I didn't know wait staff were robots...
Wait, tipping is actually a thing? I thought it was just a joke like Americans clapping in theatres, but I guess they must do that too?
Wait, tipping is actually a thing? I thought it was just a joke like Americans clapping in theatres, but I guess they must do that too?
Depends on the movie and the closeness to the release date. If its a big action movie with a really dramatic ending, sure. If its a big title like The Hobbit, almost definitely. But more subdued films, or ones that have been out longer, or ones that have a sedate period after a big dramatic scene in an action movie, its not really a thing.
