You couldn't have missed the point any more than you did. It isn't about personally knowing him, it is the fact that he was influential in people's lives. Dio was important to heavy metal, just like M.J was important to pop. He made some good music, and that talent has now been lost. [b]that[/b] is the point here. We liked him as a musician and for his contribution to the heavy metal genre, even if we didn't know him on a personal level.
Never heard of this guy. Probably because I'm not listening to his type of music.
