Tell that to people who are legitimately depressed from the chronic verbal abuse they receive everyday and are unable to have a fun time playing even games online without being abused. I hope it's policed well though. Calling someone a slut or making an immature joke once shouldn't result in a ban. Since Halo's audience is pretty young, they're going to be a bit impressionable. In fact I think it'd be cool if they got suspended from the game and had to watch a video on why sexism is bad, and couldn't join back in til they'd watched the whole thing. I am really glad 343 is going through with this. This kind of shit has been left unchecked in many places online for way too long. I just hope they actually go through with permanently banning people who break the agreement. And Mlisen, "Nanny-state-gaming" is not and can not be a thing. Games have rules for a reason. You accept those rules so you can play the game how its designer intended it to be played.
