"Elite Car" Pay-2-win
the CCX is a pretty fast car, they've got to make it hard to get. what better way than to make it totally unreasonable to own? [editline]15th December 2011[/editline] though tbh as jacked up as the specs are in medium range cars in the NFS series it probably doesn't make much difference
i could by 4 copies of dirt 3 for the price of that car. thats more than 10 x 4. thats more than 80 cars.
Since when did EA turned Jewish?
Watch out Railworks, you got a contender for dumbest DLC packs
Railworks is moddable so it doesn't even matter [editline]15th December 2011[/editline]
Since when did EA turned Jewish?
haha lmao! because jews!
yeah if your autistic or something or have this psychotic obsession with trains.
oh really?
We bought a real car for $200.
Since when did EA turned Jewish?
gotta git our fuck-Palestine money boy
Hey guys have you heard the news, EA launched their new ULTRA REALISTIC DLC. It's so realistic cars cost real prices and you have to pay for fuel consumption.
I'll have more fun with purchasing another GT5 and gifting it to a friend.
I could buy 41 Whoppers with that money.
Shit like this is another reason I generally don't waste time with multiplayer. What's the fun in losing to someone just because they had $100 to spend on something that doesn't exist outside of their computer? I wouldn't be surprised if EA starts charging them $4 a gallon for virtual gas.
Take that back please. RW has some nice DLCs.
Railworks is also beautiful as a communal purgatory.
For $100 Activision will spit on your copy of MW3
Promises Kotick spitting on it, gets greasy intern spit instead.
Can't really blame EA. Somebody is, or will be, stupid enough to buy it.
I'm generally open minded about these kinds of things. People like to call others dumb for buying $15 map packs or skin packs, but I'm of the mind that if you find those things worth paying for then what does it matter? It's their money and they can spend it how they wish. But I can't really see anyone justifying a $100 car in a racing game. That just seems to take the idea of paid game content to a new extreme. It's not even a sensationalist headline, I looked it up on the site for the game. It's literally a customizable car in a racing game, just costing $100 actual dollars. Of course it's an EA F2P game so it's probably the best car in the game. The same thing happens in Battlefield Heroes and Play4Free, paying money just gives you flat advantages like extra damage or extra health. But it still seems silly.
You're fucking joking me right now. $100 for DLC?! And for what, A SINGLE FUCKING CAR?! The only time DLC should EVER go anywhere NEAR $100 is if it's a huge compendium of MASSIVE in-game campaigns that extends the gameplay value for fucking YEARS. The sheer notion of paying $100 for a virtual car is pure unbridled HERESY! Not to mention economic suicide for a business; who would have deep enough pockets to pay for such a stupid thing, let alone be brain-damaged enough to fall for this bullshit scam? I just hope BioWare can jump ship and swim to the calm tropical shores of Bethesda before the incoming faecal typhoon engulfs the RMS EA and drags them down to the icy depths of piss along with the betentacled morbidly-obese Sharktopus that is this bullshit piece of overpriced crap.
It makes me pretty sad that companies have got to the stage were they think they can change someone that much for a 3D model which probably took a few hours to make.
If it was a true to life, simulation, of sorts, (Think Test Drive Unlimited meeting Gran Turismo or rFactor) I could see $100 DLC for an extremely nice looking super car But in NFS World? Not a fucking god damn chance
Oh shit, EA has raised the bar. Let's see how Activision responds. Maybe with a $100 CoD map pack?
CoD branded firearms.
I can buy a used car for $100. And I'll probably have more fun with it.
AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA What is happening with the modern games market?
Wow... I wonder how much a DLC in 2020 will cost, if the prices keep rising. Map packs are now 20$, and 1 car in a game is 100$... In 10 years you probably have to pay 150$ for a new premium pay to win gun with aimbot included...
AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA What is happening with the modern games market?
Nothing. This is EA being EA, they used to be famous for this shit before Call of Duty got popular and hating Activision was the in thing.
Gonna try this. So, like do you own any cars, or you just rent them with in-game cash?
this is insane
How original
Where is the joke EA made origin, what about it
yeah if your autistic or something or have this psychotic obsession with trains.
I wouldn't be surprised if EA starts charging them $4 a gallon for virtual gas.
The idea of a in game fuel that boosts your speed or other stats by X% doesn't really seem to far fetched to be honest.
