what the hell's the fun in shelling out 100 bucks and having zero competition whatsoever? aren't games SUPPOSED to give you challenge? you know, like way back when, where everyone payed the same amount for the game, and were all equally matched, and had to work up to achieve a goal? now, companies are pushing the idea of "FUCK THE CHALLENGE, BUY THE GOAL"
A lot of people are posting in defense of the car in the video posted a page or two back. Ahahahaha.

They want instant gratification and don't think about the future or potential consequences. Ergo, the many kids who smoke/drink/drive illegally and shit away their futures. Also see: the many people who buy a guitar and never learn how to play it because "my fingers hurt :( , why can't I play as good as I can on Guitar Hero right away :( ". :v:

But with $100, I can buy 6.7 Back to Karkands!
At least it's for an exceptionally nice car.....not a shit one. But still, that's crazy. Even if you can afford it, the only real reason to buy it is to brag that you did. Yeah, it will be fast and shit, but that's not why you bought it.
Yeah except when you brag about it people will go "Lol wow, you're fucking retarded, get out poser faggot"
That eight year old CoD player can't accept that he's no good so he buys his way to victory then brags about how awesome he is
How exactly do you buy your way to victory in CoD.
How exactly do you buy your way to victory in CoD.
I never said you buy your way to victory in CoD, I was stating a stereotype where those kids are the same type of kids who stereotypically play Call of Duty
I can't stop playing this game :v: although my winning depends solely on the errors of other people in faster cars (still driving that corolla) also my car gets thrown around like a tennisball
free2play is a trap and all the people who haven't figured this out(yet) seriously should think about notching their brain up a couple of gears. Shit like this should be expected. [editline]18th December 2011[/editline]
so in the end people will just refuse to race against this car, and then what
some genius implements votekick and a lot of rich fat kids are gonna go cry.
I looked at the local "cars for sale" list and there was two cars, one for 15 bux and one for 65 bux. Apparently you can even drive them though I'd reckon not very far.
Drive 'em onto a trailer perhaps. I did get pretty lucky on a 500 dollar car though, I've put 80,000 miles on that without issue.
I never said you buy your way to victory in CoD, I was stating a stereotype where those kids are the same type of kids who stereotypically play Call of Duty
Well you know what they say about stereotypes.
Neh. I'll wait for the $200 elite-tactical-attachment pack DLC for Mw1.4
How exactly do you buy your way to victory in CoD.
Well, you buy the map packs since it's kind of hard to attain victory in a game when you can't even join a game without the map packs(MW2)
put this in OP, the car in question
Isn't that a track from NFS: Underground 2?? I can still remember that canal and the small ramp because i crashed into those pillars all the times
It's like EA specialises in bullshit stress testing sciences. [editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
But with $100, I can buy 6.7 Back to Karkands!
For $100 I could buy any Valve DLC exactly ∞ times.
Isn't that a track from NFS: Underground 2?? I can still remember that canal and the small ramp because i crashed into those pillars all the times
No, the track is from Carbon. The cities in the game are from Most Wanted and Carbon.
Im going to be so fucking angry if they do this to BF3...
They won't. BF3 is a game you have to pay for to play, and therefore will never have microtransaction bullshit. NFS World is not.
I think I'd rather spend my $100 to buy Mann Co Keys than a DLC Car.
I think I'd rather spend my $100 to buy Mann Co Keys than a DLC Car.
I think I'd rather spend $100 on things that I need in reality. Like propane for my heater.
The cities in the game are from Most Wanted and Carbon.
They also include the city from UG2 as well.
Fuck you EA, i'm going to take this 100$ bill and use it all on festive hats instead, as that will give me much, MUCH more enjoyment then your shitty bunch of pixels that form a car-like shape. Also congratulations EA, on breaking your game so that people who pay 100$ only can win! Why not include a button for 200$ that ends the race for the buyer with the message "You're winner!" or "A winner is you!". Because seriously, that car was shamless.
