I'd save a statement like that for a a third-world dictator or are horrifying serial murderer or something.
What does my tribute picture to Fallout Equestria have to do with this?
From what I can tell, this law could almost be a case of forcing religions to act against their beliefs. At least, that's the argument I'm getting out of this. there is also support for the Catholics from the other religions on this.
Donohue said he's been contacted by Protestants, Mormons, Jews, and others who want to join forces with the Catholic League and the bishops to overturn the new rules.
to me, the whole problem seem like when dealing with religion and laws, it's a catch 22.
Glaber if you had read every single FUCKING stipulation of the law, you would understand that employees of said religious programs are exempt from having to use condoms. All the law is stating is the service has to be available to give such items under their health insurance for employees that want it. It's people like you that take things out of context and FUCK IT UP
Get the fuck out of my country until you learn to read better.

So fuck'em. This is America. First amendment. I have a religion that says I shouldn't pay taxes to my government. Should I then be exempt from the law?

Haha oh wow, so this is outwardly biased in favor of religion and they STILL bitch.

That's exactly it.
Also, that's how they've always done it. Take EVERYTHING out of context and use it as a poorly made weapon that only ignorant people will take up arms against.
In this case, Glaber.

If it's an established religion then you probably can. I mean churches are already tax exempt anyways.

It isn't biased in favor of religion, I don't see how you are getting that. The only time that a catholic insurance provider can use their freedom of religion is if they discriminate against people.

If a government makes a law but exempts a religion from it then it's biased towards religion because they don't have to adapt to the same laws other people and companies have to.
What the Catholic Church is complaining about is not everyone has to live to their ancient, ignorant rules regarding sex and contraception.
catholics can just fuck off they've ruined the world enough as it is

No, what the Catholic Church is complaining about is that they are not allowed to live up to their ancient, ignorant rules regarding sex and contraception.
I don't see what the big issue is, my dad has been ranting and raving about it all day. When it comes down to it though, it's not like the individual person will have to accept using contraceptives. It's a good blanket law that ensures people get proper medical care/protection.
thank god it's a glaber thread
Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Just one thing though. That means that the government can not favor one religion over another, it cannot establish a national religion, but most importantly it shall not prohibit you from practicing your religion (within reason of course. Sacrificing kitty cats is a no no.)
This law neither favors any one religion, establishes a national religion, or prohibits anyone from practicing their faith. It's a common sense mandate that should have been done decades ago.

My first thought as well.
What does my tribute picture to Fallout Equestria have to do with this?
You're attempting to be taken seriously.
That is what it has to do with this.
the whole contraceptives lead my dad to become just christian and not catholic. :v:
How are catholics not silly?
I think I would know
Oh god...
...these people have voting rights..

That's because they're nonprofits. They all still pay payroll taxes and such.
I for one would love to watch Crusaders in shining armor charging against the U.S. army.
