I'm alright with this as long as we just give them weapons and don't send any of our troops over, that, and we give the weapons over to the 'good' rebels. (If there are any that can be found.)
Weapons aren't like extra limbs, you can't give them to someone and expect them to keep hold of them until they break. The issue with giving anyone weapons in this situation is that if things don't go to plan they can end up in the wrong hands, which won't help anyone.

The war over middleeastern oil continues... The international bankers wishes to see that everyone becomes slaves under the petrodollar system. If they don't get Syria within their grasph, the war in Iraq would have been done in vain.
These bankers do not care about anyone. Al-qaeda and the US are just tools to achive their dream of world domination.
Shit is not about to hit the fan. It is about to hit a roaring jet engine.

Note, he's not being sarcastic.
Well, no one else is going to help the people... they've already lost like 96,000 lives.
That's a joke obviously but no. Western interests are tied to the stability of the MiddleEast because of it's huge oil reserves.
Doesn't the USA get the majority of it's oil from Canada?
Doesn't the USA get the majority of it's oil from Canada?
About 25% of oil the US imports comes from Canada. 60% of total consumption comes from domestic sources.

The last thing they need is more weapons.

How can you assure me that weapons don't go into Islamist hands. The pentagon says its a logistics mess and that its impossible because they don't know what the fuck is going on.
This couldn't possibly go wrong.

Libya would be a more apt comparison.
When you say Syrians, do you mean the Syrians who support the government or the Syrians who support any of the rebel factions?
Does it matter? Both are being slaughtered wholesale by both sides. If the war is ended, there might be some sort of hardcore Islamist government, but at least the would be ever.
Hell if the US intervenes, it will probably be a far more western style one like Iraq.
this would have been idea when the war first started ( well maybe just some aid ) when the rebels had a just case but they left or died and who is left is just as bad or worse than Assd
did the rebels EVER have a just case?
Because hth western media loves romanticizing rebels when they really shouldn't be. As far as I can tell both sides are pretty retarded just one of them has the better means of actually winning a conflict.

Not really anything like Afghanistan but okay.

The US won't intervene because its not worth it. The most they'll probably do is sent guns to rebels which will then bite them back in the ass somewhere down the line. Iraq is a corrupt shithole, which is polarized by religious sects, I hope not.
im getting real tired of the middle east

I'm pretty sure they had a just cause when the government was gunning down protesters.
There is a Mr.Bones joke in here somewhere.
Yeah because the Syrians totally don't need help and half the US wasn't begging the government to do this all year.
We should have been ignoring that entire chunk of the globe years ago. Also we can't afford it. We can't even afford our current clusterfuck, nevermind getting into another one.
