The irony in this post is hilarious. I think PC players are more elitists than any other consoles. PC players spend more time waving their high-end dicks at the console peasants than playing games most of the time.

How can you be elitist in Portal?
Actually yes. PC players make the maps and put them on a Steamworks thing and both sides can download.
I wonder if that was one of the reasons they decided to give PS3 users a free PC copy, access to mod tools
Probably, and Valve likes switching favorites PS3 to 360 and back, lately its been all PS3.

probably because Sony actually allows them to do the Steam integration stuff.
Why are PS3 saves incompatiable with PC/MAC, whats the point of having the cloud to "PC to PC" "PS3 to PS3". Might aswell not even have the cloud on the PS3
Doesn't microsoft have some Ubiplay thing on some xbox games? If they have that then why not Steamworks?
everyone said the same thing about mac users and just look
nothing is different
nobody cares
And MW2 users.
Wouldn't I be able to buy the PS3 version, Link it up to my steam account (I only ever want to play the game on the PC) and then sell the physical copy of the PS3 disc?

Yes. It was asked in an interview and Valve have realized this but I don't think they really care.
I'm not so worried about that fact that Steam is coming to the PS3 specifically, I would be just as worried if it was steam for Xbox.
I'm more worried of the fact that Steam is coming to a console. Not a specific console. But just right there. A console. Consoles IMO are a step in the wrong direction for Valve. L4Dlc started to point towards consoles (Matchmaking, hardcoded skins, mod support being patched in months after release, or in L4Dlc2's case: VAC bans for custom skins, and finally the occasional leftover from the Xbox), and I have a feeling that with Steam for any console, or more for that matter, Valve making deals with a console holding corporation, worries me.
Valve... Y u no PC exclusive?
Why are you worried? Valve is exporting their awesome, not the other way around.

So you want the PC version, decide to spend more for the PS3 version and then redeem your one-use code for the PC version?
Sounds fucking dumb.

I think if you buy for PS3 you can also use it on the PC. Maybe i heard wrong, it's only going off of people's comments.
So I just wasted my money when I could of gotten 2 for 1 if I bought the PS3 version.
Fuck.

Oh what. I have got to try this like right now.
once the player has linked their PlayStation®Network account with a Steam account, which is done right within the game...
Oh I missed that the first time. Shit. I guess I'll have to try this tommorrow.
As far as it doesn't slow down my system and Internet like a bitch like on my PC, I'm fine with it.
[sp]Oh my god look I said something bad about steam, yeah I must be an Idiot because I have my own opinion.[/sp]
